(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Yanshou County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Lan Bo Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor

1. [Yanshou County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Lan Bo Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Mr. Lan Bo was arrested at home on the morning of July 22, 2012. Officers Zhao Xiaodong and Zheng Songlin from the Yanshou County Domestic Security Division made the arrest, ransacked his home, and took him to the Harbin No. 2 Detention Center. Mr. Lan was recently sent to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term.

2. [Huolin Gol, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Yu Shufen and Ms. Wang Lijie Detained
Ms. Yu Shufen and Ms. Wang Lijie were arrested at noon on August 24, 2012 as they were speaking with students about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Huolin Gol Domestic Security Division. Their homes were ransacked. They are currently in a detention center.

3. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Liu Chunxia and Ms. Jin Feng from Panjiagou were arrested on August 22, 2012. They are currently in the Chengde County Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Gong Fenglan was arrested on August 24 as she was distributing informational materials. She is in the same brainwashing center.
4. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liu Yongguang Held in a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Liu Yongguang was arrested on his way to work on August 8, 2012. He was taken to the Tianhe Detention Center and held there for two weeks before 610 Office agents sent him to the Chatou Brainwashing Center on August 23.
5. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Yumei and Ms. Liu Guiying Arrested
Ms. Liu Guiying, in her 50s, was arrested in early August 2012 by officers from the Jianzhong Street Police Station. She is currently being held in the Qiliyan Detention Center.
Ms. Wang Yumei, in her 60s, was also arrested.
6. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Ling Detained
Ms. Zhou Ling, an employee at the Weifang Railway Station, was arrested and taken to Weifang Party School, a brainwashing facility, on August 16, 2012.
7. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Min Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Chen Min was arrested and sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp on August 22, 2012 for a 15-month term.
8. [Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Gong Youliang, in his 60s, was arrested around August 19, 2012. His whereabouts are unknown.
Mr. Zhu Yanian, Mr. Gu Hongliang, Mr. Mao Tiejun, and Ms. Jiang Aidi were arrested on August 21, 2012. They are currently being held in the Jiangshan Hotel.
Ms. Du Cuihua was arrested on August 22, 2012. Her situation is unclear.
9. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Shang Shuxia's Forced Labor Camp Term Extended
Ms. Shang Shuxia was illegally sentenced to 21 months of forced labor in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Her term expired on August 21, 2012 but the labor camp officials extended it by two weeks.

10. [Beijing] Mr. Guo Fengjiu Detained
Mr. Guo Fengjiu, a lawyer living in Baishan Village, Changping District, was arrested on the afternoon of August 24, 2012. Officers from the Baishan Police Station made the arrest and ransacked his home. Mr. Guo is currently in the Changping Detention Center.
