(Minghui.org) Since the Wang Lijun/Bo Xilai incident, much in-fighting has taken place within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), making Beijing the focus of the world's attention. This has also revealed to the world many details about the persecution of Falun Gong. As a result, many people have realized the evil nature of the CCP and have learned the truth about Falun Gong. They appreciate the huge effort and contribution that Falun Gong practitioners have made over the last decade to uphold truth and justice and resist the evil CCP. From the poor to the rich, from civilians to senior officials, people are shocked, moved, and amazed. One after another, they are quitting the Party and its affiliated organizations.
Within the CCP System, People's Hearts Have Changed Dramatically
After the Wang/Bo incident, many people inside the CCP system have realized that everyone is a victim of the persecution, and that aligning with the CCP will put you in debt with everyone.
(1) Police Official in Beijing Shares Why He Quit the Party
After the incident, an official from the Beijing Police Department said, “If the inside stories of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners are revealed, the CCP will collapse. The crimes of the police system aren't minor crimes, but are capital crimes. In recent years, they have committed huge crimes. If the debt is to be repaid, Zhou Yongkang must be the first in line.”
“What I want most now is the safety of my family. My Falun Gong friend has been telling me for years to quit the CCP. It now sounds very pleasant and makes my mind clear. He was acting for my benefit. Good begets good, evil begets evil. The three withdrawals would bring my family divine blessings.”
(2) A Topic in an Office in Beijing: The Collapse of the CCP
When a practitioner talked about the Wang/Bo incident, some Beijing officials shared the following opinions on the CCP's fate. A director ridiculed that now petitioners should learn from Wang Lijun to go to the U.S. Embassy, which is the only way to secure their lives. No other place, including the court, will protect them. Another director said that the CCP will definitely collapse; that it is just a matter of time and form, and even Wang Lijun tried to escape to the U.S. Embassy for safety. Who can save the CCP? The CCP is not being destroyed by other people, but by itself. It is rotten from the inside out. There is no hope for it to survive.
(3) Police Officer from Beijing Searches for Firewall Circumvention Software to Quit the Party
One police officer from Beijing changed a lot after the Chongqing incident. He asked his friend for the Great Firewall circumvention software. The CCP is blocking much information from police officers. He said that there have been big changes in the political situation, and even their police head and director were very nervous. His mind was also uncertain. For example, what would he face if the policy of persecuting Falun Gong was changed and Falun Gong redressed? His friend suggested that he not do bad things for the CCP. He said, “Next time when we are assigned to arrest people (Falun Gong practitioners) during the night, I will make an excuse and not go.” The friend said this wasn't enough and told him that it is better to inform the Falun Gong practitioners in advance, so they can avoid being arrested. He froze for a second, and said, “If anyone reports Falun Gong, I will pretend to know nothing.”
A few days later, the police officer called his friend and said he signed up at the Epoch Times website to quit the party. His friend told him to ask his relatives and friends to quit, too. He said he would, and that his relatives are more excited to condemn the CCP than he is. He said they would definitely quit.
The Public is Against the Persecution After Understanding the Truth
There have been frequent examples this year of civilians spontaneously protecting Falun Gong practitioners from police and violence. For example, 300 villagers in Zhouguantun Village (in Fuzhen Town of Botou City, Hebei Province) signed their names and stamped their fingerprints on a petition calling for the release of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong. In another example, 562 people in Tanghai County, Tangshan City also signed and stamped their fingerprints on a petition calling for the release of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zheng Xiangxing. In a third example, 15,000 people in Heilongjiang Province signed and stamped their fingerprints on a petition requesting that the government investigate the sudden death of Mr. Qin Yueming, who was a Falun Gong practitioner detained in prison, and punish the murderer. When police arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Zhen in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, over 70 people signed and stamped their fingerprints at the scene to protect Mr. Li. And over 700 people spontaneously signed to rescue Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Lankui. From these examples we can see that the Chinese public is awakening and people in the mainland are standing up to resist the persecution. This is shocking to the CCP's senior officials in Beijing.
(1) The 300 Signatures and Fingerprints Spread Among Senior Officials in Beijing
The home of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong in Zhouguantun Village (in Fuzhen, Botou City, Hebei Province) was ransacked by Botou Domestic Security Division. Because they found DVD cases in his house, they thought he was burning Falun Gong DVDs. After Mr. Wang was arrested by the police, his 6-year-old child and over-70-year-old mother were left alone at home. This irritated all the villagers. The 300 households in the village had one person represent each household, and that person signed his name and stamped his fingerprint on a petition with the village committee's stamp. They requested that the city's Procuratorate release Mr. Wang.
This petition list was spread among the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CCP. Many were shocked. Zhou Yongkang secretly took revenge on the villagers. After this incident was exposed on the Internet, the Chinese people were very angry and condemned the Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs.
(2) Qing Rongqian Went to Beijing to Appeal for Her Father
Falun Gong practitioner Qin Yueming was taken to Jiamusi Prison in Heilongjiang Province on February 21, 2011. Six days later Mr. Qin, who was completely healthy before, suddenly died. His family noticed many black bruises on his body and his facial expression was one of misery. After his death, within less than two weeks, two more practitioners died in the prison without clear reasons. To prevent Mr. Qin's family from investigating the truth, the Heilongjiang Political and Judiciary Committee and 610 Office ordered officers from the Shuangcheng Police Department to arrest Mr. Qin's wife and his little daughter. Officers from Harbin Police Department handcuffed his older daughter Qin Rongqian to an iron chair for eight hours. Without any alternatives, Qin Rongqian went to the street and asked people to sign a petition, demanding an investigation into her father's wrongful death and for the release of her mother and sister. The persecution her father suffered greatly shocked people. Within two weeks, she collected more than 15,000 signatures and thumbprints. One of the signatures was from a guard at Jiamusi Prison. He said, “I work for that prison, and I know it was done by the head of the prison.”
To seek justice for her father, on the morning of July 5, 2012 Qin Rongqian and three attorneys went to Beijing to appeal to the communist leaders with an open letter. They went to the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Supreme Court, and the appeals office at the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. However, none of the offices accepted her appeal. While they were in Beijing, they were harassed and threatened by plainclothes police officers from Heilongjiang.
