(Minghui.org) On January 5, Falun Gong practitioners from Melbourne, Australia, held an activity in a Chinese neighborhood in Glen Waverley, raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong and the organ harvesting atrocities.

Many citizens stopped at the display. Some Chinese tourists also took informational materials. Some of them signed the petition, condemning the persecution.
Tess Lawrence, a contributing editor-at-large of an internet journal Independent Australia, happened upon the event and talked to practitioners for a long time. She asked for detailed evidence on the organ harvesting crimes. She commented that it is rare to see news reports on organ harvesting or the persecution of belief in the mainstream media. She invited practitioners to write articles on this topic for consideration for publication in the journal.
