(Minghui.org) During my third year in college, I was fortunate to meet a lecturer who clarified the truth in class. With Master's arrangement and encouraged by this practitioner, I obtained the Fa at the end of 2010 and began practicing. Today, I'm a graduate and I've been recommended for admission into graduate school. I would like to share my experience in clarifying the truth in college in order to encourage practitioners who are also college students to make good use of the college environment and validate the Fa.
The environment in college is slightly different from that of society. Every year the older students leave and a new batch comes in. The crowds of students come in a steady steam, but their thinking is relatively the same. I sometimes stand in the lecture building and watch the large mass of students walking out after a class and think, “There are so many people here waiting for me to save them. I really wish that I could talk to every one of them so they could all understand the truth!”
I've been thinking of how to clarify the truth to these students. Almost all of the phones used by college students are smart phones and there is at least a bluetooth function in the phone. This helps and I use this when I clarify the truth and send materials.
I usually put truth-clarification materials such as the e-book version of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Dissolving the Culture of China's Communist Party and software to break through the Internet firewall in my phone. E-books with stories about reincarnation and traditional art and culture could also be used for people with different interests. However, truth-clarification materials are the most essential.
1. Clarifying the truth in the cafeteria
The cafeteria is one of the places where most students gather. Thus, in the morning, afternoon and evenings, I can interact with students from different disciplines, schools and grades. This makes it a very good place for clarifying the truth. The people that I meet there have predestined connections with me and our meeting was arranged by Master. Finding topics to start a conversation with requires breaking through one's own problem of not being able to open one's mouth when faced with strangers. As practitioners, we need to remember that they are sentient beings that we need to save. This opportunity of being able to eat a meal together and talk is hard to come by!
Starting a conversation depends on the situation. For example, there's a television on the wall and some students like to watch the news. I usually say, “Do you prefer watching the news or are you more concerned with current affairs? Unfortunately CCTV lies. Who still believes them?” If the other person shows more interest, I mention that everyone, including teachers and students are using software to break through the Internet firewall in order to understand the truth more comprehensively and freely. I also give some examples, such as the reason that Google was forced to withdraw from China and the truth about the CCTV self-immolation hoax.
In addition, Bo Xilai's involvement in organ harvesting is also a very good topic for exposing the truth and can easily attract the students' interest. This can also expose the true face of the evil CCP more comprehensively. Of course, there are other angles to start the conversation with, such as college studies or school vacations.
While we chat, many students talk about how the CCP covered up the truth of the Tiananmen Square Student massacre. However, some students are not too clear on how the CCP slanders Dafa, including the Tiananmen Square self-immolation hoax. Because most Chinese are outraged over the Tiananmen Square Student massacre, I use it as the entry point and then talk about the persecution of Falun Dafa. I tell them how Dafa has spread all over the world, expose the self-immolation hoax and talk about organ harvesting. How in-depth our conversation is depends on how much time we have.
Most people attending college now were born in the 90s. Even though almost all young Chinese have been deeply brainwashed by atheism, some have not been poisoned as severely. Although some have never heard about Falun Gong, most have heard about the alleged self-immolation. They usually listen quietly and ask a few questions and I answer them.
Some time ago, I went to have dinner. The food had already been placed on my plate but my card wouldn't work. The food stall person was quite understanding and told me to try again after I finished my meal. I found an empty table and sat down.
Soon, two students came and sat opposite me. I found a topic to discuss with them and through our conversation, I learned that they are first year students. Other than talking about learning some things in life, I mainly talked about the importance of developing an ability to think independently in college. One should learn to distinguish right from wrong and not just repeat what others say. Afterwards, I began discussing a topic that could lead to clarifying the truth. Both of them listened quietly, nodded their heads and also asked a few questions, then they happily went to their classes.
After finishing my meal, I went to the food stall window and said that I bought food but could not pay with my card and asked them to try my card again. This time my card worked and one worker thanked me. I said, “I should thank you for your trust!” At this moment, another man gave me a thumbs-up. I had a sudden thought: Yes, if everyone were able to understand from the other person's perspective, that would be wonderful! Perhaps Master was encouraging me.
When I talk to people, I mainly expose the truth. In regard to asking them withdraw their memberships to the Communist Party organizations, it depends on the situation and how much time we have to talk. Some students want the software to break through the Internet firewall and I use bluetooth to send it directly to them. At the same time, I also send them the e-book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party . There are some people with predestined relationships who later became my friends and I persuade them to quit the Party's organizations.
2. Coordinating with a fellow practitioner to distribute truth-clarification materials
One of my classmates obtained the Fa six months after I did after I clarified the truth to him. Later, we became graduates in the same school. Once, we went to different copy shops coincidentally to print a dozen truth-clarification materials that we edited. Before and after printing, I asked Master to strengthen my effort and I also sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the attachment of fear and interference from human notions. At the same time, I disintegrated all the evil factors that may be interfering with the printing of materials. In this way, we printed and distributed them one after another and it was very smooth.
Later, a fellow practitioner who is a lecturer heard about this and said that this method wasn't good. He purchased a portable inkjet printer that runs on batteries and can be put into a bag, and gave it to us. The fellow practitioner and I bought the cartridges and started printing materials. Of course, the quantity is small. I currently print materials at the dormitory. When my roommates are out, I close the door, open my computer and start printing. This should be based on one's circumstances and environment; however, the best way is to rent a room off campus.
The process of printing and distributing the materials is also a process of cultivating away human attachments and resolving problems. During this process we can identify our human attachments and also understand and eliminate them.

Meeting predestined people while working part-time
Because I needed money, I decided to find a part-time job. I knew that Master would arrange for me to meet people with predestined relationships. My first job was distributing flyers. I wasn't tired so I chatted with other students while we distributed flyers. This is also a good chance to clarify the truth.
Once, I met a freshman who studied the same discipline as me but was not from my school. He intended to apply for our graduate school in the future. As the time was tight, I did not really clarify the truth to him. Later, he used the software to break through the Internet firewall to take a look at the overseas news. This formed a good groundwork for the later part of persuading him to renounce the CCP.
One afternoon, he called me and said that he was at my school. I told him that I would come to him. Suddenly, my nose started to bleed and would not stop. However, saving people is my first priority. I sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the interference and used toilet paper to block my nose before I went out to find him. As soon as I saw him, my nose stopped bleeding.
While I showed him around the school, I clarified the truth more deeply than I had previously. He said that he has a teacher who often tells his students, “People are doing things, but heaven is watching,” and he said he believes it. Afterwards, I suggested he quit the Party and gave him an alias to quit. At that exact moment, his classmate called him and wanted him to come back. This meeting really was arranged by Master for predestined people to be saved! Master said,
“Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy.” (“Rationality” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
I prepare a conversation topic and materials and use wisdom to rationally talk to students in different situations. Master has arranged everything and all that's needed is for us to carry it out. When I see that the other person understands the truth, chooses what's best and quits the Party, I am truly happy, happy that this person is saved! Behind everything are the efforts that Master makes. Nothing can fully repay Master's grace!
During the whole process of clarifying the truth, many of my problems were also exposed, such as my competitive mentality, being opinionated, the attachment of forcing people to accept what I say, zealotry, attachment to complaining, anxiety and attachment of differentiating. I need to be wary of these and eliminate them. Although I am still very far from Master's requirements, I believe that through studying the Fa and cultivating, and as my righteous thoughts become stronger, I will walk on the path of cultivating, saving people and returning to my true self with confidence and dignity.
