Businessman Mr. Zhu Yandong, 45 years old, began to practice Falun Dafa in 2011. On September 9, 2013, the police illegally arrested him. While Mr. Zhu was held at the Xishan District Domestic Security Division of Liangyuan Police Station in Kunming City, the police searched his house and confiscated his belongings without a search warrant.
Mr. Zhu was taken to a detention center that evening. The police so far have not produced the notification of custody, and Mr. Zhu's family has no idea where he is.
Mr. Zhu traded jadeite and made a good living. Before he practiced Falun Dafa, he spent two million yuan (US$ 320,000) each year on gambling, drinking, and night clubs. But he was not happy.
In February 2013, his friend introduced him to Falun Dafa. The next day Mr. Zhu read Zhuan Falun, and many questions he had over his 20 years of practicing Buddhism were answered. In the next few days, Mr. Zhu did not put down Zhuan Falun unless he was doing the exercises. Each time he had a question while reading Zhuan Falun , the question would be answered when he read it again. He was amazed by the miraculous power of the book.
Within the next year, he quit drinking and gambling. His diabetes, hypertension, high uric acid and blood lipid levels disappeared. He was truly happy and knew his purpose in life.
Seeing the improvement in Mr. Zhu's character, his friends from the past said that he had become a truly good person.
