(Minghui.org) On October 5, Falun Gong practitioners in Japan participated in the 57 ^th Festival of Gifu Nobunaga, in Gifu.

Nineteen groups participated in the opening parade of the festival. Falun Gong's entry consisted of the Divine Land Marching Band, an exercise demonstration team, a fairy lady team, and a lion dance team. The spectators warmly welcomed their performances.

This was the 5 ^th time that Falun Gong practitioners had performed at this festival. They won the award of “Best new entry” last year.

This annual event honors the feats of ODA Nobunaga, including his efforts to unify Japan with Gifu castle as his base, and also to celebrate his contributions toward the construction of the city of Gifu itself.
