(Minghui.org) The 610 Office in Shanghai has been arresting Falun Gong practitioners and taking them to brainwashing centers. To hide what is going on, they often change the location of the brainwashing center. They also use deceptive means during the sessions.
The Baoshan District 610 Office started a brainwashing session in mid September 2013 and called it a class on arranging flowers and cooking. If practitioners accused them of using deceit to persecute them, they would threaten and intimidate practitioners.
The 610 Office started another brainwashing session on October 21, 2013. Several practitioners were forced to attend the session. The session includes activities like singing the songs that praised the Communist Party and watching videos that slandered Falun Gong. The staff then forced practitioners to write the guarantee statement. The methods they use to “transform” practitioners are manifold and cunning.
The brainwashing center claims to provide “legal education,” but they always conduct their activities in secret. They sometimes set up the sessions at hotels and tell others that it is a meeting held by an insurance company.
