Sinusitis disappears after 2 months of Fa study

In 1972, I caught a cold and developed sinusitis. I am now 63 years old and suffered miserably for 41 years. I was unable to breathe through my nose, and always had to breathe through my mouth. So in winter I inhaled cold air and could never get a good night's sleep.

As I couldn't smell, food was unappealing. Whenever I caught a cold, I gave off a noticeable odor. This caused me a great amount of embarrassment. I was nervous and prone to headaches. I would cry at the drop of a hat and I lost my temper easily. I was confrontational and would quarrel with others.

I sought treatment from many large hospitals, such as the Heping Hospital and the Xi'an No. 4 Military Hospital, to get rid of the painful nasal obstruction. I also tried many different kinds of treatments, such as traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, including acupuncture and steroid injections. However, the pain persisted. I was in despair and felt helpless.

I had read many of the truth clarification materials about Falun Dafa. I had also heard some of the magical stories about Falun Dafa saving the lives of people who were dying. One of my friends, a Falun Gong practitioner, helped me to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Youth League and the Young Pioneers. However, due to my poor enlightenment quality, I was skeptical about the practice and was unable to become a practitioner at that time.

I started reading Zhuan Falun in March 2013. My wife and I read one lecture each day. One day in June, my wife said, “Wait, I haven't seen you use the medicine for your nose recently.” I carried the liquid medicine with me all the time and would use it often. When I thought about what she said, I was surprised, “That's right! When did I stop using this medicine? I didn't even notice!” Although I was not diligent in cultivation, the sinusitis that had plagued me for 41 years had disappeared without me noticing. It was miraculous!

Then I noticed that my nose was not congested anymore, and my breathing was so smooth. Food tasted good again for the first time in many years. I don't know how to express my gratitude to Dafa and Teacher. As I studied the Fa, I knew that Teacher had removed my karma. I must be diligent and genuinely cultivate. I must live up to Master's requirements.

Stomach tumors disappear after reading Zhuan Falun

I am from Zhoukou Village in Henan Province. I married a poor man and have lived a difficult life from the time I got married. The quality of my life was inferior to others in most respects. However, I had always been fortunate because I had good health, a good appetite and I slept well. I could fall asleep as soon as I lay down.

Three years ago my health took an unexpected turn for the worse. My stomach ached and was swollen. I went to the hospital for a check-up. A doctor informed me that I had a tumor in my stomach. The tumor was an inch and a half long and I needed surgery to have it removed.

The surgery was very expensive. Where was I going to get the money? The doctors had not confirmed if the tumor was malignant or benign. If the tumor was benign and I spent a lot of money on surgery, I might be spending it for no reason.

When I got home I felt overwhelmed. I didn't eat very much as I had lost my appetite. That night, I couldn't fall asleep, and lay in bed thinking about it. Finally, I burst into tears. I thought there might be a glimmer of hope: maybe the doctor had made a mistake.

Two weeks later, I went back to the hospital for another check-up. I was hoping that the doctor had made a mistake. However, the test results revealed just the opposite. The tumor had grown from 1.5 inches to over 2 inches. And another smaller tumor had developed beside it. This news hit me like a ton of bricks. My mind went blank. All I could think was, “It's over. My life is over.”

I was crying miserably at home, so my husband persuaded me to go see my parents for a few days, thinking that I might feel better being in another environment. He said that he would go and visit some of our relatives and ask them to loan us some money, so that we could go to the hospital to see about having surgery. He said, “Relax. Medical technology is so advanced. You will be all right once the tumors are removed.”

At my parents, I was crying as I told them about my ailments. My father told me to stop crying and said, “A bad thing might turn into a good thing. You know, I had many illnesses before I practiced Falun Gong. Now all of those illnesses have disappeared. Falun Gong really is a magical practice. It cultivates both the mind and body. Whoever learns the practice will never quit. When you were healthy you didn't take it seriously when I talked to you about Falun Gong. Now you have an illness, and maybe this is a good opportunity for you to learn the practice.” After I heard what my father said, I felt a warm current go through my whole body. I thought that maybe this opportunity was given to me to learn the practice. I said without hesitation, “Yes, I will learn it.” My father smiled and handed me the precious book Zhuan Falun .

As my parents were very busy, I went home the next day. When I got there, I immediately started to read the book. The more I read, the more I felt every single word penetrate my mind. So many puzzling questions were explained in the book. I felt that I understood everything after reading it. As I read the book, I regained my appetite, fell asleep easily and my stomach felt good again.

My husband took me to the hospital for another check-up two weeks later. When the doctor looked at the X-ray he was very surprised. He said, “Both tumors are gone.” I knew that our compassionate Teacher had helped me and removed the tumors. I had read Zhuan Falun only once. Teacher eliminated my suffering and led me down the path so that I could return home. Again and again I said, “Thank you, Master Li for saving my life! Thank you, Master Li!”
