(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 30 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province] Two Dozen Practitioners Detained

Two dozen practitioners have been arrested by the agents of the local 610 Office since October 2013. They are being held at brainwashing centers or detention centers.

Practitioners who were arrested from October 1 to November 16 include: Ms. Liu Yanguang, Mr. Kang Bo, Ms. Hong Yamei, Mr. Wang Bosong, Mr. Zhao Dawei, Ms. Huang Yanming, Mr. Wu Guanda, Mr. You Miao, Ms. Sun Mingzhu, Mr. Shen Chao, Mr. Zhang Ningbo, Mr. He Jiqiang, Mr. Liu Zhaohui, Mr. Gong Qihui, Ms. Xue Rui, Mr. Li Chengrun, Mr. Wu Quangang, Mr. Zhang Yunyue, Mr. Wu Laizhang, Mr. Chen Jun, Mr. Sun Guangxu, Ms. Liu Hongya and Mr. Ji Chunlei.

2. [Leizhou City, Guangdong Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Feng Caifeng and another practitioner were arrested by officers from the Leizhou City Police Department on November 17, 2013, while distributing informational materials about Falun Gong and the persecution. They are being held at the Leizhou City Detention Center.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Ruiqin Detained

Ms. Yang Ruiqin was arrested by officers from the Hulan District Guangming Police Station at noon on November 18, 2013, while talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Harbin City Detention Center.

4. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Dinglian and Ms. Li Min Imprisoned

Ms. Gao Dinglian and Ms. Li Min were sentenced to 4 years and 3.5 years in prison, respectively, by the Aihui District Court. They were taken to the Heilongjiang Women's Prison on the evening of November 19, 2013.

5. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Money Extorted from Two Practitioners

Ms. Xiaowen and Ms. Xiaohui were arrested on the morning of November 15, 2013, while talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. Officers from the Dadi Town Judicial Administrative Branch, led by director Guo Tieling, carried out the arrests.

The two practitioners were first taken to the town government center and then transferred to the local police station. They were released after officials extorted 5,000 yuan from Ms. Xiaowen and 3,000 yuan from Ms. Xiaohui.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xinfang Arrested

Ms. Liu Xinfang was arrested at home by several officers from the Gaoyi County Police Department and Hanxiang Village Police Station on the morning of November 19, 2013. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a computer, a cell phone, a car, and other personal items.

Mr. Yu Songjiang was arrested by officers from the Qianjin Farm Police Department on November 19, 2013. He was taken to the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center.

8. [Xingtang County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested, One Detained

Ms. Zhang Chouni, Ms. Yang Huanping, and Mr. Zhang Shuanma were arrested at Ms. Yang and Mr. Zhang’s home by officers from the Xingtang County Domestic Security Division, including Liu Zhenfeng, on the morning of November 15, 2013. They were taken to the Xingtang County Detention Center.

Police confiscated currency bills worth 4,000 yuan with facts about Falun Gong written on them. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Yang were subsequently released due to high blood pressure. Mr. Zhang is being held at a detention center.

9. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Chaozhen Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Huang Chaozhen was sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Jiangyang District Court on the afternoon of November 19, 2013.

10. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Huayu Detained

Ms. Li Huayu was arrested by officers from the Qingliu Police Station on the afternoon of November 18, 2013. Police ransacked her home and confiscated a laptop, a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other personal items. Ms. Li was held at the Xindu Detention Center, but recently released.

11. [Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shi Xiaoyan Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Shi Xiaoyan was asked to come to the Residential Committee Office. Upon arrival there on November 18, 2013, she was arrested by two plainclothes officers. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Jiang Suying was arrested on September 22, 2013. She is being held at the Jianyang Detention Center.

13. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Ruimin Detained

Ms. Yan Ruimin was arrested on the morning of November 15, 2013. She is being held at the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

14. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Zhong Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Li Chung was arrested by officers from the Huadian City 610 Office on the morning of November 19, 2013. He was taken to the Shahezi Brainwashing Center.

15. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Hu Jiming Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

A security guard confiscated Mr. Hu Jiming's work identification card upon seeing him distribute information about the persecution of Falun Gong at the Foxconn Factory on the evening of November 9, 2013. Mr. Hu was arrested that night when he went back to the factory to ask for his ID card. His current whereabouts are unknown.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Xiaoxia Arrested

Ms. Yu Xiaoxia was arrested by officers from the Yangluojie Police Station on November 17, 2013. She is being held in Wuhan City.

Mr. Zong Tingqi was arrested on November 18, 2013. He is being held at the Ulanhot Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Shuhua was arrested at her store by officers from the Domestic Security Division on November 19, 2013. Her home was ransacked.
