(Minghui.org) Many Falun Gong practitioners are forced to have blood and tissue samples taken to provide a DNA record for potential use in forced organ harvesting. This might also help to explain why some practitioners have suddenly disappeared.
Blood and Tissue Samples Taken for DNA Testing
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Guizhu, 64, a retiree from the Social Security Bureau of Huaihua City, went to pick up her grandson from kindergarten on October 28, 2013. Police officer Cao Riquan and two others from the Domestic Security Division followed her.
Cao told Ms.Yang they needed a blood sample from her. Ms. Yang refused to cooperate. One of the officers told her, “When you were detained at the Xinhuang Detention Center earlier, I was away. Now we've come to take a blood sample for DNA testing.”
To keep from having her blood taken, Ms. Yang walked straight into her daughter's firewood storeroom and closed the door. The officers were left outside. When they opened the door she went to hide in the toilet. The officers waited outside. When Ms. Yang tried to run out of the storeroom, they grabbed her and took some blood from the index finger of her left hand. Just then, her daughter came home and asked the police what they were doing. They said, “Taking some blood for a DNA test,” and left.
It's been over eight months since Ms. Yang was illegally detained. Why did the police take a blood sample now? Because they routinely torture and abuse practitioners, we know the police are not concerned about their health or wellbeing.
In another instance, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zuo Xianfeng, a high school teacher in Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province, was tricked into going to the local Domestic Security Division on July 30, 2012. She was detained by division leader Zhang Yingduo as soon as she got there and taken to the detention center in Yilan County. Zhang Yingduo, Song Yuze, and Hao Jianfei then tried to take a tissue sample from her.
Ms. Zuo refused to cooperate. Song Yuze and Hao Jianfei held her arms while Zhang Yingduo grabbed her throat, trying to force her to open her mouth so he could take some tissue from her palate. Ms. Zuo refused to open her mouth. Zhang used a piece of wood to try to pry her mouth open but couldn't. He slapped her face and yelled, “The detention center harasses you, but I'm worse then they are. I will torture you until you die.”
He kept slapping her face. When that didn't work, he grabbed her by the hair and threw her around. He then pushed her down and knelt down on her left arm while Song and Hao held down her head and her right arm. Zhang Yingduo covered up her nose and mouth, trying to force her to open her mouth. By then she was very weak from the beating and could hardly move.
In fact, most illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners have been forced to give blood and/or tissue samples, whether they were told it was for a DNA test or not.
For example, as early as the second half of 2008, Harbin Women's Prison started to take blood samples from practitioners to check their blood type and for a DNA record. All detained practitioners were forced to have a blood sample taken. Prison officials Pan, Mou Yulan, Zhou Zhihong, and many police officers were involved in this.
While trying to take blood sample from Ms. Wang Yan, Mou Yulan held her from behind and sat on top of her while Zhou Zhihong grabbed her hand to get blood.
I was also forced to give a blood sample when I was detained in a forced labor camp in 2005. Only Falun Gong practitioners had to do this. For years, I often read about blood samples being taken from practitioners. When I checked for more information, I was stunned to realize that DNA testing is directly related to live organ harvesting!
The Importance of Tissue Matching
Before any organ transplant, tissue matching needs to be done. This involves the matching of blood, HLA, and other elements. HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) is the primary marker of histocompatibility in humans, like an “ID card” in human biology. So the matching of HLA is extremely important for the success of an organ transplant. With the development of molecular biological technology, DNA typing is gradually replacing blood typing, and the results can be over 99% accurate.
There is abundant evidence that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has committed atrocious crimes in the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The taking of blood and tissue for DNA testing provides further evidence of such crimes. They take samples from practitioners ostensibly for "DNA records." But Falun Gong practitioners are not criminals, so why collect and keep records of their DNA? Why don't they take samples from the thousands of criminal inmates for DNA records?
Two Missing Practitioners Found with Their Organs Removed
Retired senior teacher Ms. Fu Keshu from Kaiyang County in Guizhou Province and another practitioner, Mr. Xu Genli, her nephew, went out to distribute informational materials about Falun Gong. They “disappeared” in November 2005 in the Jinggang Mountain area. Their family reported them missing to the Ciping Police Station and looked for them through the local TV station. They also put out missing person posters and had locals guide them through every peak, dangerous waterfall, and cave to try to find them, but without success.
Zhu from the local Domestic Security Division went to talk to the family many times. Later, when their bodies were found on Five Finger Peak, their organs were missing. Ms. Fu Keshu's head had been shaved, both her eyeballs were missing, and the flesh around the sockets had ulcerated. There were two black holes on her nose.
Mr. Xu Genli's head had also been shaved. There was a large hole in his forehead, both his eyeballs were missing, the flesh around the sockets had ulcerated, and there were two black holes on his nose. His chest and abdomen had been cut open and sewn up. The police reported that they did an autopsy and DNA testing and concluded that Ms. Fu and Mr. Xu had committed suicide. The authorities refused the family's request to do any further investigation.
The case is very questionable. Before their bodies were found, Domestic Security Division officials went to talk to the family many times. When the bodies were found, it was obvious that their organs had been removed. Did the police need to take organs for a DNA test? It's most likely that the victims' organs were harvested while they were still alive and their bodies were dumped on Five Finger Peak.
A "Live Organ Bank"
At first people thought the CCP harvested organs only from Falun Gong practitioners who refused to give their names. For years, however, the CCP has been taking blood samples from illegally detained practitioners. The only explanation for this is that they intend to use these practitioners as a "live organ bank." Might this not help explain why some practitioners suddenly disappear?
