(Minghui.org) In addition to sightseeing and purchasing gifts for their friends and family when they travel abroad, many Chinese tourists arrive at their destinations with another, new objective: Quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Word has spread that Falun Gong practitioners are a great source of important facts that have been covered up or distorted in China.
Many Chinese people traveling abroad have added Falun Gong truth-clarification sites to their itinerary. Some have sent greetings to the founder of Falun Gong and hope that he can return to China soon. They engage in discussions with Falun Gong practitioners at tourist sites to learn the truth about the CCP-staged self-immolation and the atrocities of live organ harvesting.
The movement to renounce the CCP and its affiliated organizations began in 2004 with the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, which analyzes the communist party by detailing its history of repression and concludes that China will not be free as long as the Party remains in power. Since the publication of this book, over 150 million Chinese people have resigned from the CCP and its affiliates, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.
The first statement of resignation from the CCP was published online in December 2004. Volunteers from the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP have been helping Chinese people to quit the CCP ever since. As of today, over 150 million Chinese have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Passengers in a minivan were very happy after renouncing the CCP at a tourist site in Europe. When they said goodbye to the volunteer who helped them, they asked, “Will you be able to see Master Li Hongzhi?”
The volunteer asked why, and they answered, “Please pass our greetings to Master Li!” They wanted to make sure that the volunteer had a way to get their message to Mr. Li, the founder of Falun Gong: “We all hope Mr. Li can come back to China soon!”
Near the Eiffel Tower, Falun Gong practitioners regularly clarify the facts and help Chinese tourists quit the CCP.
Two Chinese tourists greeted the Quit the CCP Service Center volunteer in Europe. One said, “My alias is Tianliang. That is the name I used to quit the CCP.” The other said, “My name is Tianmou, and I have quit the CCP, too!”
They asserted to the the rest of their tourist group, “Overseas trips are great for quitting the CCP! Isn't this trip to France a good opportunity to do that?” They explained that one of them had quit the CCP in Harbin, China, and the other in France.
Tianliang said, “We want to encourage the others in our group to quit the CCP. We can give each other courage!”
The volunteer thanked them and said to the other Chinese tourists, “Have you heard them? They have quit the CCP and are trying to encourage you to, also. Have you quit yet? I can help if you haven't.” The tourists talked with one another and discovered that most of them had already renounced the CCP. Some had done it in China, and some of them quit outside of China.
At the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia in the U.S., two older Chinese gentlemen went straight up to the Falun Gong practitioners and asked to quit the CCP.
One of them said, “We have come here specifically to renounce the CCP. At our age, we have experienced all manner of bullying from the Party. We have suffered many hardships and almost lost our lives in China. We would appreciate it very much if you could help us to renounce our membership in the Party.”
After seeing the informational display, an older man said, “You are great! The CCP is so bad. Please help me renounce the Party.” He told the practitioner that in China, he had read Falun Gong informational materials distributed by practitioners who risked their lives to disseminate the truth. He had also received free software to break through the CCP's information blockade and was thus able to read news and information that is not accessible in China. He also asked for additional materials and said that he would bring them back to his friends.

The air pollution in China has worsened considerably in recent years. The American Embassy once announced “crazy bad” air pollution in Beijing. This winter, severe pollution has been reported in many northern Chinese cities, Beijing and Harbin being the worst.
At a tourist site in Europe, Chinese tourists from Beijing and Harbin complained about the air pollution and stench in their hometowns. “The air is so fresh here,” one said, “but we cannot bring it home with us.” “What can we do? We cannot move here. We're stuck in China. Aren't we just waiting for death there?”
The Quit the CCP Service Center volunteer said, “No need to be so sad. Quitting the CCP will bring you a bright future. The CCP will collapse any time now. If you abandon it and refuse to be a member of it, then Heaven will protect you. Even the pollution won't hurt you. Don't you want to quit?” The tourists responded, “Great. We trust you. Please help us to quit the CCP.”
At another tourist site in Europe, Chinese tourists were very touched to hear the volunteer's explanation. One said, “Falun Gong tells us that [quitting the CCP] is the solution for survival!” They not only immediately quit the CCP for their own benefit, but also persuaded one another. They even volunteered to help their mutual friends: “So-and-so hasn't quit yet.” “Don't worry, I will make sure he does.”
A middle-aged man in one tourist group in Europe didn't quit the CCP immediately. Other members of his group told the volunteer, “We will definitely persuade him on our way home.”
Tourist sites are also great places for Chinese visitors to engage in group discussions to uncover some truth with input from Service Center volunteers who are also Falun Gong practitioners. Some say, “We want to hear what Falun Gong has to say!”
A group of Chinese tourists had a recent conversation with a volunteer regarding the car crash on Tiananmen Square on October 28, 2013.
Through their discussion, the tourists found out the truth about the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square in 2001. CCP propaganda claimed that it was done by Falun Gong practitioners, but it was actually staged by the CCP to turn public opinion against Falun Gong.
The entire self-immolation event was videotaped and broadcast as propaganda. Viewers can clearly see the police with fire extinguishers trying to put out the fire.
Video footage of the October 28 car crash showed not a single fire extinguisher present on the square. The self-immolation was breaking news immediately after it occurred, but footage of the car crash wasn't broadcast until 20 hours later.
One tourist commented, “That's pretty clear. The self-immolation was staged by the CCP to frame Falun Gong practitioners. The car crash was not staged. The CCP lies to us again!” Others said, “They are scoundrels!” Quite a few in the group agreed when the volunteer asked, “Do you want to quit the Party?”
Bo Xilai, a high-ranking CCP official, was convicted of corruption in a show trial in China recently. Many Chinese people want to know if it is true that Bo was involved in the CCP's harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
At a tourist spot in Europe, five young men from northwestern China wanted to know more about the organ harvesting in China. “We heard something about it, but we aren’t sure if it is true,” said one man.
“You probably know from the Internet that Bo Xilai's most serious crime is organ harvesting from living human beings, right?” a Service Center volunteer asked. “However, there was no mention of this atrocity at Bo’s trial. The CCP dares not mention a word about it.”
“Bo Xilai could not carry out such an evil crime by himself. He must have had support from the CCP,” said a young man.
“That's right. In September 2006, Bo admitted on the phone that it was Jiang Zemin who called for forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The telephone conversation was recorded and later made available on the Internet,” the volunteer said.
The young men were shocked to learn this. “The Communist Party is extremely evil. Instead of working for the good of the people and the nation, it continues to use every means at its disposal to garner power and control for itself,” one commented.
“Although we are Chinese, we do not want to live in China. It does not mean that we are unpatriotic; it means that we cannot tolerate China's corrupt officials and dirty politics. Not to mention the ubiquitous environmental pollution!”
“If you want to enjoy a life of peace and happiness, it is best if you withdraw from the Party and its affiliated organizations,” said the volunteer.
“You're right!” exclaimed one man. “We are all going to quit the CCP to ensure ourselves a bright future.”
Once, a volunteer approached a tour group in Europe and tried to talk to the leader of the group. The man smiled at her. “Are you going to tell me about Falun Gong and advise me to withdraw from the CCP?” he asked. “If so, I have been longing to do that for a long time. I can see right through the Party's words and deeds.”
“Why have you waited so long to quit the Party then?” the volunteer asked.
“I have been hesitating because I work for the CCP. How can I live if I quit my job?” the man replied.
“Actually, quitting the Party will not affect your everyday life at all,” the volunteer explained. “You can use a pseudonym online instead of your real name. And you don't need to formally withdraw from your local Party organization.
“Making the choice to symbolically quit the CCP will enable you to separate from it and erase its evil mark on your soul. I’ll write down on a piece of paper that you agree to quit the Party and post your declaration on the Epoch Times website, using an alias instead of your real name. Or you can do this yourself, if you are able to log on to the website.”
The official was overcome with emotion and simply nodded. He then asked for some informational materials to take back to China.
