(Minghui.org) The 2013 Taiwan Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held in Kaohsiung on November 24. More than 7,000 practitioners from Taiwan and 100 from Korea, Japan, and Denmark attended. It was the first time a large scale Falun Dafa conference has been held in southern Taiwan.

Experience sharing

Eighteen practitioners shared their experiences of clarifying the truth at tourist destinations, convincing Chinese people to quit the Party on the phone, exposing the Chinese government's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, and selling ads for the Epoch Times .

Many attendees said that they benefited a great deal from practitioners' sharing.

Ms. Gao Chengnu, a Korean-Chinese, came with her daughter. She said, “I would have regretted it for the rest of my life if I had missed this conference. I was deeply touched by those practitioners who have tried their best to clarify the truth to the Chinese tourists at more than 30 tourist destinations in Taiwan. I saw the difference between them and me and how I can improve myself.”

Mr. Chen Jinsong, the owner of a lumber factory, said, “One of the speakers, 15-year old Lin Yiling, talked about how she studies the Fa and clarifies the truth at tourist sites. She made me think about myself. I am retired and have a lot of time, so I should do more and make some breakthroughs in my cultivation. Fellow practitioners at my exercise site have had discussions on how to manage our schedules and clarify the facts to Chinese tourists. After this conference, I need to hurry up to save sentient beings.”

Mr. Long Shaolin had tears in his eyes talking about his reaction to the conference. The practitioners' sharing really touched him. “Whenever Master Li's name is mentioned, I cry,” he said. “I was a criminal, and Master Li saved me.” Mr. Long was in Ludao Prison when practitioners went to the prison and told the prisoners about Falun Gong in 2005. Mr. Long got a chance to renew his life. He felt so lucky to attend the conference.

Ms. Chou Yihsiu is an art teacher at Jianguo High School in Taipei. She was amazed by the young practitioners who shared how to get rid of the attachment of lust. Ms. Chou said, “The moral standards in modern society have really declined, and many people engage in degenerate behavior. However, young Falun Dafa practitioners are able to purify themselves through cultivation and keep looking for their own shortcomings in everyday life. That's not easy. They study the Fa and try to get rid of their attachments. People who practice in other schools of cultivation cannot do that.”

Ms. Lou Hsinmei, an official with Taiwan customs, was moved by those who went to Hong Kong to clarify the truth. “If it wasn't for cultivating Falun Dafa, who would abandon their comfortable life at home and go to Hong Kong to talk to Chinese tourists? Some of the practitioners even had to sleep on the street at the information booths in Hong Kong. If it wasn't for cultivating Falun Dafa, how could a government official harmonize the atmosphere in her office and clarify the truth to her co-workers?” she marveled. She believed that the sharing at the conference was a manifestation of the precious process of cultivation.
