Hu Dongyuan Twice Taken to Brainwashing Centers

(Minghui.org) Mr. Hu Dongyuan, 63, from Tongcheng County, Hubei Province, began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. He has been taken to a brainwashing center twice by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officers.

Mr. Hu was out on his motorbike on the morning of July 25, 2013, when he was stopped near his home by Zhang Dinger from the Domestic Security Division and two plainclothes officers. He was pulled off his motorbike and pushed down, then forced into a black car that had no license plates, and taken to the county detention center. The police then ransacked his home.

Mrs. Hu rushed home from Wuhan City and requested his release. The police stalled her with many excuses. She later found out that Mr. Hu had been taken to a brainwashing center in Wuhan several days earlier.

Mr. Hu was released from Banqiao Brainwashing Center on September 18, 2013, with a badly swollen face. Police officers Li Yingcan and Zhang Dinger had gone to Banqiao Brainwashing Center to torture Mr. Hu and Ms. Dai Xianfeng.

Officer Zhang Dinger, along with six others from Juanshui Police Station and the Xiushui Community, went to Mr. Hu's home again on the morning of October 23, 2013. A heavyset police officer grabbed Mr. Hu's neck, and two others held his arms, then dragged him from the first floor to the ground floor, pushed him into their car, and took him to Xianning Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Hu has been repeatedly persecuted by the CCP due to his belief in Falun Gong. He spoke about his personal experiences to the provincial and central government and was persecuted. In addition to the two times he was held in the brainwashing centers in the Yinshan building (for over ten days each time), he was also held in the No. 1 Detention Center by the Tongcheng Domestic Security Division three times, over three months each time, for a total financial loss of more than 20,000 yuan.
