(Minghui.org) In the afternoon of October 21, 2013, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dong Chunhua from Zachun Township in Laizhou City of Shandong Province and her 80-year-old mother were working in their backyard. Suddenly, five police officers from the Laizhou City 610 Office broke into their home to take Ms. Dong Chunhua to the brainwashing center. Ms. Dong refused to go. A tall officer grabbed Ms. Dong’s arm, trying to drag her into the car, but couldn't. Then all of the officers together forced Ms. Dong into the car and took her to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Dong’s mother was stunned by this sudden incident. Ms. Dong’s sister and brother in-law (who do not practice Falun Gong) went to the brainwashing center to request her sister’s release the next day. The staff from the 610 Office said they would release Ms. Dong as long as she writes the Guarantee Letter (renouncing her faith in Falun Gong). Her brother in-law asked, “May I write the letter for her?” The staff replied, “Even if you write the letter, she needs to put her thumb print on the letter. Otherwise, she will not be released.”
Ms. Dong Chunhua and Li Yufu are both detained in the Dianzi Brainwashing Center.
The 610 Office, an organization instituted to persecute Falun Gong, has established brainwashing centers to detain and brainwash innocent citizen under the guise of “Law Enforcement Education”.
