(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Decheng is from Ganzhou, Liaoning Province. He was sentenced to six years in prison. At present, he is still unconscious as a result of the torture he suffered in Nanguanling Prison in Dalian City. His son, also a practitioner, was recently illegally arrested and detained as well.
Mr. Li is 66 years old. He had been arrested twice and imprisoned for nine years. On February 14, 2012, he was sentenced to a six-year prison term for the third time by the Gaizhou Court.
The guards in Nanguanling Prison embarked on the “transformation” of practitioners on November 8, 2012. They handcuffed practitioners to heating pipes and deprived them of sleep around the clock. Mr. Li was tortured until he was close to death. Currently, he is at the Dalian Shahekou Hospital for emergency treatment. He has been unconscious for 10 days.
Son Arrested; Family Interrogated
At around 8:30 p.m. on October 31, 2012, Wang Hongqui, policeman from the Yingkou Boyuquan Domestic Security Division, and 5-6 other policemen arrived in Xihonghai, Boyuquan. They broke into the home of Mr. Li’s son, Li Guang. They confiscated two computers and Falun Dafa books. Without displaying any warrant, they arrested Li Guang and took him to Boyuquan Detention Center.
At around 8:30 a.m. on November 8, three policemen and one policewoman from the Boyuquan Domestic Security Division again broke into Li Guang’s home. They arrested his mother and younger brother, who is not a practitioner. They took them to the Domestic Security Division, where they interrogated and threatened them. They were finally released around midnight.
At 9:00 a.m. the same day, Wang Hongqui and 5-6 other policemen broke into the clothing store owned by Li Guang’s wife. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and 600 yuan in cash.
