CCP Persecutes Falun Gong Practitioners in Jun Mountain District

(Minghui.org) Peng Changhua, secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Political and Legal Affairs Committee and director of the 610 Office of Qianliang Lake Town in the Jun Mountain District of Yueyang, directed officers from Jun Mountain Domestic Security Team, Qianliang Lake Ceng Mountain Town Police Station, Liangxinbao Police Station, Caisang Lake Police Station, and Ceng Mountain Patrol Team to work in teams to arrest Falun Gong practitioners in Jun Mountain and Yueyang. Eleven practitioners were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center and their homes were ransacked.

On the morning of November 3, practitioner Ms. Dai Zuolan was picking cotton on her farm. Yin Xiaohong, the CCP secretary of her village, and security officer Gao Aijun went to her home and told her youngest daughter that they were there to visit Ms. Dai. The daughter asked her mother to return home. Ms. Dai put her farm work aside and came home to prepare lunch for her “guests.” Yin and Gao asked her, “Do you still practice Falun Gong?” “Falun Gong is the righteous Fa,” replied Ms. Dai, “I will certainly practice it.” A dozen police officers from Ceng Mountain Town arrived at Ms. Dai's home in three cars. They ransacked her home and arrested her. When Ms. Dai's daughter tried to stop them, the police started beating her. Ms. Dai's husband tried to protect his daughter. The police injured one of his fingers. The neighbors were very surprised that Ms. Dai had been arrested. “She works in the cotton field every day. Which law did she break? It is outrageous!”

Ms. Dai was taken to Ceng Mountain Senior Center to be brainwashed. She was monitored by Peng Changhua, Zhang Shanwen, Liu Qiongfang, Yuan Chunhua, Yan Dingji, and several young thugs the authorities had hired. She was not allowed to talk to anyone or move at will. Liu Qiongfang lectured her with CCP fallacies and forced her to watch CCP propaganda videos. Not only was Ms. Dai cursed at, she was also taken to Jun Mountain on November 15 and forced to put her thumbprint on blank pieces of paper.

That same day, Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhu Chunxiu from Yueyang and Ms. Ren Xiyun from Ceng Mountain went to the home of Ms. Cai Guijiao, who was imprisoned, to help pick cotton. They were arrested by Jun Mountain District Domestic Security Team police officer Xiang Yuehua, Caisong Lake Town Police Station chief Fang Cheng, Caisong Lake Town Judicial Office chief Shen Cheng, and 10 others. Ms. Zhu was detained in the Ceng Mountain Town Senior Center. On the morning of November 15, officers Peng Changhua, Zhang Shanwen, Liu Qiongfang, Yuan Chunhua, and Li Xudong surrounded Ms. Zhu. They inked her thumb and pressed it on a “transformation” form. Looking at the thumbprint, Ms. Zhu was brought to tears. Practitioners Ms. Ou Xiaxiu, Ms. Cai Ailian, Mr. Li Xiaoyun, and Mr. Zhong Haoxiang also had forced impressions of their thumbprints made. Some thumbprints were put on as many as six sheets of paper. The policemen said shamelessly, “You just made a thumbprint. It is we who sinned.” Ms. Cai Ailian even thought of committing suicide afterwards. When her husband called Peng Changhua, Peng said, “So what? What do I have to do with her suicide?”

The police also forced each practitioner to pay a few hundred yuan before releasing them. Ms. Ou Xiaxiu paid 200 yuan and was detained for five days. Mr. Li Xiaoyun was also detained for five days.

Qianliang Lake farm has immigrants from 200 counties in 19 provinces throughout China. Before the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, there were nearly 1,000 Falun Gong practitioners working for the farm.

Ms. Li Nianchun was very sad to see that many practitioners had been arrested and taken to the brainwashing center. Seeing so many police officers participating in the persecution, she thought that she should let go of the attachment to life and death and go to where practitioners were detained to validate the Fa.

On November 7, 2012, Ms. Li went to Ceng Mountain Senior Center. She said to Peng Changhua, Liu Qiong Fang, Yuan Chunhua, Yan Dingji, and others, “I want to wake you up. Don't commit crimes against Dafa anymore. After you come to your senses, it will be much easier to save the more than 80,000 people in Qianliang Lake.” She used her own experiences to tell them about the wonderfulness and magnificence of Dafa, expose the viciousness of the CCP (such as the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation and live organ harvesting), and mention that heaven would destroy the CCP.

Liu Qiongfang and Yuan Chunhua tried to make Ms. Li to watch a video that slandered Dafa, but she refused to cooperate. When Yuan Chunhua slapped her in the face, she shouted, “The bad guys are beating me! Everyone, please remember that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! I am in my 70s. There is nothing wrong with listening to my Master. Nor is it a crime to save people! I am on a hunger strike here to validate the mighty virtue of Dafa.” Several dozen seniors opened their windows and heard her. The authorities were deterred. Peng Changhua and Yan Dingji told Yuan Chunhua to apologize to Ms. Li.

Ms. Li didn't eat or drink for four days, but she went on as usual and continued to tell people the facts. She told Peng Changhua, “Can any of you do what I did? I just hope that you will wake up and not leave a legacy of regret for you and your family that will last forever!” Peng Changhua asked three young people to drag Ms. Li out. On November 11, Ms. Li's husband was asked to take her home.
