(Minghui.org) Ms. Li Qun went to the Daxing District of Beijing to assist her child in resolving a legal affair in 2010. Learning that Ms. Li was a Falun Gong practitioner, the individual involved reported her to the local police. Ms. Li was subsequently arrested and taken to Division Four of the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Division Four possesses a long history of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. The wardens have abundant experience in the torture and brainwashing of practitioners refusing to renounce their beliefs.

Ms. Li was subjected to all kinds of torture. She was forced to hold a chair in a certain position for an extended duration. When she protested, the guards brutally beat her. When she continued to appeal by going on a hunger strike, the guards put her in solitary confinement, forcing her to sit on a small stool with her hands on her lap and her body upright, looking forward. She was not allowed to close her eyes and was denied restroom use.

Du Jingbin, head of Division Four, and other guards force-fed Ms. Li daily over a ten-month period. Guards kicked and shocked her with electric batons.

When they found out about how she was being tortured, Ms. Li's family reported these crimes to higher-level officials, and the local Procuratorate then sent people to investigate. However, Division Four wardens obstructed the investigation by providing false evidence. Finally, thanks to a brave witness, the torture of Ms. Li was proven and the wardens involved were sanctioned.

Later, Ms. Li was transferred to Division Two, where she was still force-fed daily. She was then taken to a hospital, and her location has been unknown since that time. Li Ziping, head of Division Two, engaged in deceptions. He applied his knowledge and experience in psychology gained from other forced labor camps in persecuting the practitioners in his division. Once in a public meeting, Li Ziping patently lied, claiming that the guards had not tortured Ms. Li.

Key personnel responsible for the persecution in Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp include

Du Jingbin, head of Division Four. He was previously a group leader in Division Three, working directly for the head of Division Three, Jiao Xuexian. Due to his active participation in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, he was promoted to assistant head and, eventually, head of Division Four.

Li Ziping, head of Division Two, ordered inmates to monitor and torture practitioners. Li liked to use drug addicts to assist in this. They used profanity and beat practitioner inmates at will, because they were rewarded with shorter sentences. Li Ziping reduced their terms based on their level of “effort” in torturing practitioner inmates. Some drug addicts received one-month sentence reductions five times in a row. Practitioners supervised by Li Ziping were tortured most severely, especially the steadfast ones.

Yang Li, a group head in Division Two, also frequently ordered inmates to torture practitioners. She was absent for a period of time due to an infectious disease, but then returned in 2012 and continued to persecute practitioners.
