(Minghui.org) I have been talking to people on the streets to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution since early August 2011, and each day I help between three and twenty people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I have helped about 3,000 people over the course of 20 months. Based on my experience, the results are good when I approach people with a friendly attitude.
When I maintain a heart of compassion, people are happy to listen to me, and 95 percent of the people who quit do so with their real names.
I. Saving Predestined People with Compassion
I hit the pavement day in and day out to save more people, because we have little time left. More than 22,000 people from my area have withdrawn from the CCP organizations since 2004, and I have covered almost every corner of our area. I traded my bicycle for a motorcycle in Fall 2011 so that I can travel farther and reach even more people.
I always smile when I approach people, so they feel my kindness. Last year when I walked by a shop, a woman started talking to me and said, “You look like a good person.” I said, “You are right, I practice Falun Dafa.” I told her about how Dafa is practiced around the world, and that Heaven will put an end to the Chinese Communist Party and its regime and that she should quit to stay safe. She said, “Absolutely, I will quit!”
Clarifying the Facts to Students
I run into many students who have been brainwashed by Party propaganda, and I patiently explain the facts to them. This past winter, I met a college student rushing toward the bus station. I smiled at her and said, “I’ll give you a ride on my motorcycle.” She said, “Okay.” We started talking and I told her about the staged self-immolation, and she agreed to withdraw from the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers.
Once I saw a group of middle school and elementary school students selling vegetables to help their families. So I bought some of their lettuce and tried to give them tips on how to sell their produce. We hit it off and the topic quickly turned to Falun Dafa, and all seven kids happily agreed to quit the CCP organizations.
I saw a young man rushing to catch the bus, so I gave him a ride and we talked along the way. He said, “You are so nice, you took me where I needed to go and you told me so many things I didn’t know.” I said, “I’m doing it because I want what’s best for you, so you’ll be safe in any future disasters.” He agreed to quit with his real name. After we arrived at his destination, he held my hands for a moment and said, “I will certainly remember that Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Thank you!”
One day on my way home, I ran into a recent college graduate going home from work. I told her I study the Buddha Fa and I would give her a ride for free. She got on my bike and I explained things to her, and she quit the CCP organizations with her real name. I also told her how to use software to break through the Internet blockade to access overseas websites, and she wrote down the website where the software could be downloaded.
Letting Go of the Attachment to Preference
I used to avoid people who were unattractive or who seemed deeply brainwashed, but after comprehensive Fa study, I realized that I was being selective and I was wrong to do so.
Master told us,
“That is to say, don't pay any mind to whatever the reality of today's mankind is or however rampant the evil is: The people who have come to this world are waiting for you to save them!” (“Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital,” 2007)
After studying this lecture, I decided to let go of this mentality. I started talking to people I previously avoided, and many of them gladly quit the CCP organizations.
Once, I met someone who refused to listen no matter what I said, and he was very sarcastic. I thought, “Forget it, maybe I'll try next time.” Then I remembered that everyone came for the Fa, and that I could not let him miss this opportunity. So I patiently explained things to him for a long time. In the end, he was moved by my compassion and agreed to quit.
I met another stubborn person who was from out of town. I was afraid he might not get another chance to hear the truth if I did not help him. Master said,
“None of you realize what the people in today’s world once gave of themselves for this affair. Nor have you realized what magnificent beings they once were, plunging down headlong into such a dangerous place, braving the tremendous peril. That fact alone makes them worthy of your saving them and pulling them out.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the NTDTV Meeting”)
Master’s Fa inspired me to be more compassionate, so I decided to try again. I reminded myself to have a heart of compassion and talked to him some more. Eventually he said, “I believe you are doing this for my own good because you are so sincere you began weeping. I'll listen to you. Please help me quit!”
II. Ice and Snow Cannot Stop Me from Saving People
This past winter was cold. I did not stay at home and instead went out to save people. I went to a marketplace 30 miles from home on December 30, 2012. There was only one third of the normal volume of shoppers due to the weather. I helped a few people quit the CCP and then helped a few more quit on my way home. I thought, “Master told us to save more people, I need to do more!” I asked Master to help me find more people.
I saw three people chatting outside a store, so I went over and greeted them. We started talking and they enjoyed listening to the truth about the CCP, and soon four more people came over. They said, “Great job! We will quit this evil organization.” Five of the seven quit the Party and its affiliated organizations; the other two had never joined.
It was freezing cold on November 28, 2012. Because I had the strong desire to save people, Master and other gods helped me save 18 people, including five CCP members.
I left home in the early morning on January 23, 2013, and it had just snowed the night before. I saw one man and two women walking and carrying luggage, I stopped my motorbike and learned that they were going to the train station. I said, “Here, put your luggage on my bike.”
I rode alongside them. As we talked, I realized that they had been affected by the lies about the staged self-immolation. After I explained what really happened to them one man said, “The Communist Party is rotten, making up lies to deceive people. Please help my wife and me quit!” Afterwards, the young woman in the group also asked to quit.
It was snowing heavily on the morning of January 20, 2013 as I joined a few practitioners to save people. We helped five people quit on our way back home.
As I rode my bike on January 26, 2013, I saw a high school student running. I slowed down and started talking to him. He agreed to quit with his real name.
III. Heavy Fog Cannot Stop Me from Finding and Saving People with Predestined Relationship
This winter has been bitterly cold again in north central China, but I never took a single day off from saving sentient beings.
There was heavy fog cover when I woke up the morning of January 31, 2013. I could not see more than 10 meters away, but I still left home to help people. I met a driver who was lost at an underpass, and he pulled up to ask me for directions. I gave him directions and then asked him to quit the Party. He did and waved goodbye.
Once, a woman was lost and I spent nearly ten minutes helping her look for the bus sign, during which time I asked her to quit the CCP organizations. She was moved by my kindness and agreed.
My motorcycle was covered with ice, as were my pants, down jacket, gloves and hat. Still, I was happy because I helped eight people quit the CCP organizations.
One morning, it was again foggy and as I rode my bike I caught up to an elderly woman just as she finished shopping in a farmer’s market. I offered to carry her vegetables. After I explained things to her, she agreed to quit the Young Pioneers.
Over the past several months, I've talked to people every day. I watch their mood, try to keep the conversation pleasant and save them with compassion. It has worked well.
Master said,
“If you, as Dafa disciples, want to effect change in a person when you clarify the truth and want to save him, you must not arouse the negative elements in that person. You must hold to being shan, and only then can you resolve problems that may arise and save that person.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference”)
Fellow practitioners, let us strive forward together diligently! We can save more people only when we have compassionate hearts.
