(Minghui.org) Since we began group Fa study, we have diligently been practicing cultivation, and doing the three things better, especially on saving people by clarifying the truth. Here I would like to share with fellow practitioners some stories related to our improvement.
First story: Security Guard Immobilized by Practitioner's Righteous Thoughts
One day, practitioner A went to a residential area to distribute truth-clarifying materials door to door. She was concentrating so hard on distributing materials and sending forth righteous thoughts that she didn't notice that a security guard was following her.
After she distributed all the materials, the security guard suddenly grabbed her arms and demanded to know, “What are you doing?” The practitioner was scared at first but soon calmed down and thought, “I acted according to Master's Fa, I'm here to save people, nothing is more righteous than this, I have no reason to be afraid!” Then she said, “I didn't do anything bad, why are you grabbing my arms?”
Then she looked into the security guard's eyes while eliminating all evil elements behind the guard that interfere with Dafa and stop Dafa practitioners from clarifying the truth. She even said the words out loud. The security guard became scared and said, “What are you saying?” then he let go of her arms. The practitioner walked away.
When she was about 10 meters away, she looked back and saw that the security guard was still standing there. She knew it was because she maintained righteous thoughts without any fear. Master helped and immobilized the security guard so that she could leave. In her mind she said, “Thank you, Master!”
Second story: Security Guards Release Practitioner After Becoming Aware of the Truth
Practitioner B went to a residential area to distribute truth-clarifying materials, and as she was walking out of a building, she was stopped by a security guard. The security guard demanded, “What are you doing?” The practitioner replied, “What do you think I'm doing?” The security guard said, “You are distributing anti-government flyers.”
Practitioner B said, “Many people distribute advertisement flyers door to door every day, why don't you stop them? What I'm distributing are materials telling people to be good, why are you stopping me?”
Three more security guards came, and one of them said, “Send her to the police station.” Practitioner B said, “For what? I didn't break any law.” The security guard replied, “My superior has ordered it.”
Practitioner B then told them, “The current government is a dictatorship which cannot differentiate between good and evil. It is not only corrupt but also a bully that uses all means to humiliate those who are not CCP members. You should know that if you follow such an evil regime, you will be held responsible for its sins and the consequences may be serious. Many policemen who participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners have already received retribution. Please do not follow this evil regime and do bad things.”
While B was talking, she was sending forth righteous thoughts. Her arm was released. She continued, “You have to be clear that as a security guard, your responsibility is to protect residents but not to help a villain do evil. We print materials using our own money to help people become aware of the truth and to save them. We are doing good things. If you don't care but simply follow the evil regime and take me to the police station, not only you but also your family will have to pay for hurting good people.”
Then she walked away. It seems that their knowing sides were listening and understood. Those security guards just stood there watching her walk away.
Third story: Removing a Slanderous Banner with Righteous Thoughts and Wisdom
Outside of a market, practitioner C saw a banner with words on it that slandered Dafa. Then she discussed with other fellow practitioners on how to remove it. Across the street from the banner, a man stood guard 24 hours a day. Simply going up and removing the banner, one would definitely be seen by the security guard.
Practitioners suggested that they intensively send forth righteous thoughts to have the security guards remove the banner themselves.
Several days later, however, the banner was still there. Then practitioner C said, “We should eliminate our attachment of fear and remove it ourselves.”
So they decided to go to the market after 11:00 p.m. when all the lights were off. Practitioner C would go and take the banner down while the other practitioners would send forth righteous thoughts to make the person on duty fall asleep.
That night, when practitioner C arrived at the market, she saw that the security guard was sleeping, so she quickly cut the banner down. She knew she should leave immediately, but she thought that since the security guard was sleeping, she should take the banner away. When she was about to leave, the security guard suddenly dashed over and grabbed her.
She was scared at that moment, but when she saw the guard was calling for the police, she shouted out, “Do not call the police!” Her voice was so loud that she scared the guard and he couldn't dial the phone number correctly.
Practitioner C told him, “The content on this banner is really bad for anyone who reads it, so I have to take it down.” The guard replied, “The street agent hung the banner and I was told to keep an eye on it. Now you've cut it down, how can explain this to my superior?”
Practitioner C said, “This dictatorship is so corrupt, all it knows is how to murder and rob people. Millions of people all over the world choose to practice Falun Gong. They not only get healthy but by practicing the country saves huge medical fees and they are also good people. Corrupt CCP officials became jealous when they see so many people practicing Falun Gong, so the regime has been persecuting Falun Gong for many years.”
The security guard agreed, “You are right, I'm not satisfied with the CCP either. However, if you cut the banner down, my superior will punish me or deduct my salary or even fire me.”
Saving People with Compassion and Wisdom
A person standing nearby said, “Give him some money for compensation, then leave.” But the security guard said he wanted to discuss the situation with one of his friends. Practitioner C said, “OK.” and she thought maybe she can further clarify the truth and save them both. She said to Master in her mind, “Master please help me, give me wisdom to save these two people.”
Soon, a smiling old man came. Practitioner C asked him, “Uncle, have you ever joined the Communist Party or any other of its affiliated organizations?” He said he joined the Chinese Communist Youth League when he was young. C said, “I can tell that you are a nice person. The CCP is very corrupt and evil, Heaven will soon destroy it. If you quit the CCP, you'll save your life and be blessed. I'll help you quit, OK?” He smiled and said, “OK!”
Then that security guard told the old man what happened. He listened and said, “It is not a big deal, but I'm afraid the guard will be punished or even fired.” Practitioner C said, “If he is fired, I'll help him find another job.” The old man was touched by C's sincerity and then told the security guard to let her go. C then said to the security guard, “Have you also joined the Youth League?” He nodded and C said, “How about if I help you quit too? Your nickname will be 'good luck'. You'll also be blessed” He agreed.
Enlightenment
Master said,
“It is thus all the harder to, while being subjected to ordeals imposed by the old forces, manage to walk the path correctly. And this is even more so for the Dafa disciples in mainland China. For them, amidst the tremendously harsh persecution, every single thought and idea is critical. Whether you’ve done well or not; whether or not you’ve been susceptible to being persecuted; whether or not you’ve handled things correctly and to what degree you have been persecuted—all of this is directly connected to how you have walked your path and how you have thought about things. Things are extremely difficult for Dafa disciples, and, because it is during the final phase of the world, when the setting is at its most complex, that Dafa disciples are making their way out, cultivating their way out, and even saving others, Dafa disciples can thus establish themselves as beings of such greatness and such high levels. It is because the old forces are interfering that what you are doing is both magnificent and really hard.” (What is a Dafa Disciple)
Practitioners in my Fa study group enlightened that, in order to do the three things well, first of all, we have to eliminate fear. At its root, “fear” is actually part of being “selfish.” If we can eliminate selfishness, we have nothing to fear. Like the above three stories, because practitioners had the attachment of fear but maintained strong righteous thoughts, the evil was frightened, thus it had no loophole to persecute practitioners.
Secondly, we must trust Master and Dafa 100%, and believe that what we are doing is the best thing in the world. With Master's protection and help, we won't have any problems. Whenever we encounter difficulties or face dangers, as long as we hold righteous thoughts, we will easily pass through them. Of course, we should treat ordinary people kindly and always think about others. The security guards are also deceived by the CCP, and we should save them. If we sincerely clarify the truth to them, they will be saved.
