1. Having Faith in Master and Dafa, the Whole Family Is Rewarded
My daughter and I were very fortunate to be able to attend the Falun Dafa classes presented by Master in Guangzhou in 1994. That was when I took up the path of cultivation. All the persistent ailments I had suffered earlier disappeared, and I was glowing with health and radiating vigor. When I bumped into old schoolmates, friends, or strangers I had just gotten to know, they all commented, “You are in such good health!” At such moments, my heart was filled with infinite gratitude to our Master.
Even though my daughter did not decide to practice, she knows deep in her heart that Dafa is beautiful and sacred. My daughter excelled in spoken English, but she won only third place in the English speaking contest at her junior college. When I asked why she failed to win first place, she said those who won first place had to include content to slander Dafa, and she would not do that. I praised her for her righteous deed.
While at the university, her lecturer in politics gave them a homework assignment to write an essay to “criticize” Dafa. My daughter refused to do it. In the end, she just copied something that had nothing to do with the assignment topic and handed it in. Even I thought she would not be able to get away with it. (I did not have a good understanding about the issue at that time). But my daughter said lightly, “If worse comes to worst, I will lose only the opportunity to study.” As it turned out, no harm came to her at all. Upon graduation, my daughter was given an “Excellent Student” award.
Later my daughter got married and started a happy family. She gave birth to two beautiful, healthy baby girls. When her daughters felt a little unwell, she would tell them to repeatedly say “Falun Dafa is good!” They would recover very quickly without needing to go the doctor.
2. Saving Sentient Beings with Abundant Compassion
With Master’s protection and blessing, my whole family is in good health, and this has also enabled me to have more opportunities to study the Fa, browse the Minghui website, and clarify the truth to people. After Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published on the Internet, I began to assist Master in saving people.
A. “I Felt Really Good While I Was Listening to You”
In 2005 a repairman came to my house to change the bearings in our washing machine. There were only the two of us at home. I felt it was a good opportunity to ask him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The repairman looked very honest and he was very quiet. While he was working, I told him the facts about Falun Gong, about the beauty of Dafa, and about the cruel persecution by the evil CCP. It was very noisy when he was repairing the washing machine, and he never said anything. I was a bit worried that he might not have taken in much of what I had said.
An hour later, after he had finished the job, he straightened up and agreed to quit the Young Pioneers, which he had joined when he was young. He said to me with sincerity, “I felt really good while I was listening to you!” Now it was my turn to be moved! This was the first time I had heard from someone else that when I held a heart of compassion, and when strengthened by Master, the energy field was really big and strong. This was very important and beneficial to saving sentient beings.
The incident inspired me greatly, and in the next few years, I became more and more experienced and confident in persuading people to quit the CCP and its other organizations. Among those I helped to quit the CCP were police from the 610 Office, salaried professionals, shop assistants, ordinary citizens, and cadres.
B. A High-ranking Cadre Quits the CCP on a Train
A fellow practitioner and I once went on a business trip. We chatted in our sleeper compartment as a way to expose the lies of the CCP and how it exploits and persecutes people. We also talked about Dafa. People wanted to know the facts and they listened quietly. It was already 11:00 p.m. and they still wanted to hear more.
There was a man in his 60s, wearing an army-style short-sleeve shirt, and he looked like a cadre. He sat by the window on purpose and looked at us out of the corner of his eye. Suddenly he said loudly in a stern voice, “I have been listening to you, and all you have been saying is how bad the Communist Party is. Are you saying that the Communist Party has not done anything good? I have travelled everywhere, the USA, South America, Europe, and I even took a delegation to Taiwan before people were allowed to visit there. I have never heard anyone criticize the Communist Party like you!”
Immediately, the atmosphere in the compartment became tense, and the other passengers held their breath in fear. The other practitioner and I looked at each other and smiled. We did not get irritable or angry, but said calmly, “Indeed, the Communist Party did not do anything good in the last few decades. It was wrong to kill the landlords and capitalists who built their wealth through hard work; it was an act of banditry to confiscate their property.”
As we explained with rationality and kindness, the man softened his tone; he also admitted that the Communist Party was now so corrupt that it was beyond cure. We praised him for his sense of justice and pointed out that it was only a matter of time before the Party disintegrated.
It was already midnight. I felt a message: “This high-ranking official has become clearheaded now and has been saved." When he went to the toilet, I said to the other practitioner with confidence, “Let’s get some sleep. I will finish speaking with him tomorrow.”
The next morning, we arrived at our destination. As people were busy getting out of the station with their belongings, I quickly caught up with the official. Within a couple of minutes and before we got out of the station, he agreed to quit the CCP.
Before the trip, I had downloaded a video clip about “Cang Zi Shi” (a stone with naturally formed characters that state “The Chinese Communist Party Perishes” on the face of it), and whenever appropriate, I show it to people and suggest to them to withdraw from the CCP, the Youth League, and/or the Young Pioneers. Some people on the train had already heard us clarifying the truth. As a result, more than 20 agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Helping people to withdraw from the CCP organizations with compassion and rationality enabled us to save people relatively easily on the trip.
3. Following Up on “Key Topics” to Help People Quit the CCP
Any topic that can lead to a “political” conversation are “key topics.” This is a good way to engage people, because it is the other person that starts the “political topic,” and we just go along to clarify the facts. In such situations, people usually follow our way of thinking.
The following are some examples of “key topics:”
--- Taxi driver A: Pointing to an old-style house he said, “All these houses were torn down by the Communist Party!”
--- Taxi driver B: “My daughter is really good. She joined the Party at university, which will give her an advantage if she wants to become a public servant later on.”
--- Chinese staff member in a Taiwanese company: “It would be good if Taiwan would re-unite with China in the future.”
--- Shop assistant in a computer shop: “After the Olympics in China, China’s economy will really take off …”
Take the shop assistant, for example. On the day I went to buy a mouse for the computer, there were six or seven assistants and quite a number of customers in the shop. To view it from a non-practitioner's angle, it would be a tense situation in which to do the “three withdrawals” as the risk was high. However, we Dafa disciples are divine beings in the human world. How can ordinary people interfere with divine beings?
I recalled Master’s words,
“Compassion is an enormous energy, the energy of righteous gods. The more compassion that is present, the greater this energy becomes, and it can disintegrate anything that is bad.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference”)
I thought that the reason the shop assistant said this to me was because she had a predestined relationship with me and was waiting for me to save her. So, with kindness, I told her the facts about China’s economy, the true picture of society that was covered up by the evil CCP, as well as the fact that heaven would disintegrate the CCP. She was very interested and brought me a stool so that I could sit down and tell her more. Three other shop assistants also came over to listen to what I was saying.
I could feel that we were surrounded with a strong energy field. I felt very calm, without a bit of fear. I went on for about 15 minutes. Other shop assistants were busy doing their cashier jobs all this time, and nobody came to interfere with what I was doing. Later, four shop assistants, using aliases, withdrew from the Party. They were very polite to me when I left the shop.
Of course, it was Master who was doing all this in the true sense. When our xinxing meets the standard, Master will strengthen us.
4. A Public Servant: “So This Is How You Got Over a Hundred Million People to Quit the CCP Organizations”
Whenever I am away from home by plane or train to visit relatives or on business, I tell passengers sitting next to me to quit the CCP organizations. They are usually people with a good education and high social status. I hold the compassionate thought, “I will save you” when talking to them, and the success rate is almost 100%.
Because we are cultivators, people can feel that we are kindhearted. In addition, when I read articles on the Minghui and Epoch Times websites, I pay particular attention to practitioners’ experiences in getting people to withdraw from the Party. By reading the Nine Commentaries and “Dissolving the Party Culture,” I also eliminated the remaining CCP culture elements in my thoughts and opened up my wisdom. All this has helped me save people with compassion and rationality.
Once when I was traveling by train, I met a young couple sitting opposite my semi-cushioned berth. Through our conversation, I learned that they both worked as public servants in a government department in a big city. The young lady told me that her husband used to work in a department similar to “the department in charge of religion management”. (She hesitated, so I don’t know if it was the 610 Office). I had no fear and thought: “It was not a coincidence that we met today; I will save you.”
I started talking about my early studies of the Book of Changes and “fortune telling” before I started Falun Dafa cultivation, and I naturally ended with the topic of “theism.” This got their attention immediately. Two other young people sitting nearby also became interested.
I then turned to revealing the evil nature of the CCP. Although the young couple did not agree with many things the CCP has done, the young man said all of a sudden, “Stability overrides everything!” I took issue immediately, saying this was typical fascist theory. The young man was shocked to hear this. I explained that, above stability, there is also justice, conscience, and life.
When talking about “stability,” we need to see if it is stability for the life of the people or for the selfish interests of the CCP. How can a Party use “stability” as an excuse to arrest people, kill people, and persecute the innocent?
I got the message across to the young couple. Later they both agreed to quit the CCP and its other organizations. The young man suddenly saw the light and said, “So, this is how you've gotten one hundred million people quit the CCP.” (He sometimes got around the state firewall to access forbidden websites.)
Whenever I have helped people quit the CCP organizations, I remind myself to study the Fa well and to improve my xinxing. This is cultivation and only by doing these things well can we save more people. All astronomical phenomena and situations in the human world are giving one signal: The evil CCP will soon disintegrate, and Fa-rectification in the human world will soon arrive. I will make good use of the time to study the Fa more often and to cultivate abundant compassion so as to assist Master in saving more people.
