(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Gong nine years ago and will soon turn fifty years old. I have numerous cultivation experiences and wish to share a few of them with Teacher and fellow practitioners.
1. Creating a Good Family Environment to Better Assist Teacher to Validate the Fa and Save Sentient Beings
Practitioners in Mainland China are indeed under a certain degree of pressure to validate the Fa and help save sentient beings. They often must deal with pressures from both the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their own families. A disharmonious environment will hinder us from doing the three things well in offering salvation to sentient beings.
I live in a fairly good family environment where both my husband and child support me. I have a busy daily schedule:

I arrive at a practitioner’s residence at 5:55 a.m. every day to send-forth righteous thoughts for about thirty minutes. After that, we study the Fa at 6:30 for about an hour.

When I get home at 7:30 a.m., my husband has breakfast ready. It is like this every day.

Before 9:00 a.m., I join our group to study one lecture of Zhuan Falun. At 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 in the morning, we send forth righteous thoughts for 15 to 20 minutes.

I go home at noon, and my husband has prepared lunch for us. In the afternoon, I normally print truth-clarifying materials, or help fellow practitioners to find local Fa-study groups. I also share experiences with practitioners experiencing sickness karma and help others fix their computers.

On my way to and from fellow practitioners’ residences, I clarify the truth and help people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I clarify the truth face to face to people—on streets, in alleys, on the bus, at the 610 Office and the local police department. Most people with whom I talk agree to withdraw from the CCP.

At 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 pm, I join a local practitioners' group to send forth righteous thoughts together.

At 9:50, I practice the exercises for two hours.

At midnight, I send forth righteous thoughts for 20 to 30 minutes before going to bed.
After reading the “20th Anniversary Fa Teaching” recently, I can sense that my responsibilities are even more urgent now since time is so limited. Master said:
“Whatever day history is to end on, that day cannot be delayed no matter what. There can only be changes made to specific things or what unfolds in the process. Things that are not done well will impact things later on, but this overall time frame cannot be extended. This isn’t a matter of Master being compassionate or not. The reality is, in the end, if anything that has been saved or re-formed is not what I want or does not reach my standard, it will have been for naught since it will have to be destroyed. This time cannot be exceeded. So, for the beings that cannot be saved, that’s just how it is.”
“Of course, having said this much, Dafa disciples might feel that there are many things that they haven’t done well and that they regret. That’s bound to be the case. In fact, I knew from the start of this undertaking that with mankind having reached this point and, on top of that, there being such massive interference from the evil, it would really be hard for Dafa disciples to clarify the truth to people who have been deceived by the lies fabricated when the persecution began. I could see at that time that it was already impossible to save every person, much less could we save all of the cosmos’s sentient beings. But we will still do our utmost to save more, to save them quickly, to rush to save still more lives before the time arrives.”
Meanwhile, local practitioners reached a consensus that we each would cover our own district to make sure that every household would receive truth-clarifying materials. Although we had left large amounts of materials inside apartment buildings before, much had been wasted because we did not have an overall plan. Some of the residents received the same materials repeatedly. In addition, sentient beings who live in the gated buildings with electric locks had not received our materials at all.
Splitting the tasks among individual practitioners would help avoid these issues. Each of us would cover from a few to over a dozen buildings. We sent forth righteous thoughts at the gates with electric locks, and found that when we used our hearts, Teacher came to help. Thus, we were able to enter many of the gated buildings.
My Husband Offers Convenience for Local Practitioners to Study the Fa in My Home
Since we began to distribute the materials collectively, all the truth-clarification materials production centers were busy. My husband even helped to compile the materials. He also printed truth-clarifying notes on cash bills.
Before going out of town for business trips, he would remind me the day before to notify fellow practitioners to come to our residence for Fa study.
On one occasion, he had to postpone the trip for a few days at the last minute, but I had already notified everyone to come. I told him that I could change the location; however, he said that I should not change the plan, and besides, some practitioners were probably already on their way. “I can take a walk outside,” he said. It was raining then, and he walked for more than two hours.
After running some errands on another occasion, my husband came back a half hour early and turned away without entering our house. He did not want to interrupt us from studying the Fa.
My Husband Positively Changes with the Upgrading of My Character
My husband was not like this before. In the past, he tore up my Dafa books, and said many disrespectful things against Dafa and accumulated karma. When my xinxing improved, he also changed.
Taking Care of Ailing Father-in-Law
My husband knew I took care of his ailing father and did not care about how much money we spent on his medical bills. When my father-in-law needed surgery, which would cost about 150,000 yuan (about $25,000), I said that he must get the treatment even if we had to borrow money. I knew that my husband was deeply touched because I saw tears in his eyes.
The doctors found out later on that my father-in-law had heart disease, so surgery was too risky. The doctors then recommended a conservative treatment which would cost less. My husband said that it was a test for our whole family to pass.
After my father-in-law passed away, I told my husband that we should pay for the entire cost of the funeral, since his younger brother and sister were not doing as well as we were financially.
Treated Hospitalized Mother-in-law Kindly, Disregarding Her Attitude
When my mother-in-law was hospitalized, I also took care of her. I got up at 4:00 every morning to make her soup. However, since I failed to study the Fa and practice the exercises as diligently, the evil forces took advantage of this loophole. As a result, I began to cough so badly that I had difficulty falling asleep at night. Nevertheless, I continued making soup every morning.
It just so happened that my mother was also hospitalized at the same time. Because I had to take care of my mother-in-law, I could only phone my mother. Because of her suffering, my mother-in-law would sometimes be irritated with me, but I reacted to her calmly.
One day, she demanded her chemotherapy and urged me to get the nurse right away. However, the head nurse told us that all of the nurses were on lunch break. She also said that in order to administer the chemotherapy, they needed at least two nurses present to apply a special kind of medication to prevent adverse reactions.
After lunch, a nurse brought in all the chemo medication, but special medication was not among them. My mother-in-law was enraged.
I told my mother-in-law that the head nurse said that they needed the special medication. She asked me to find the head nurse, so I did. As soon as the head nurse came in, my mother-in-law yelled at her. I remained calm because it was a chance for me to elevate my xinxing.
Teacher has said:
“as practitioners we should not be the same as others and must conduct ourselves better. He will not quarrel with those two persons. But normally when a problem arises, if it does not irritate a person psychologically, it does not count or is useless and cannot make him or her improve.”(Zhuan Falun, Lecture Four)
I told myself that I must maintain my xinxing. I smiled the entire time. The head nurse said, “I thought that you needed the special medication, but I was wrong. You don’t need it. I’m sorry.” Looking at me, the head nurse smiled. I thanked her.
After that, when I clarified the truth to the other patients in the ward, they all withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. They believed that I was an admirable person.
One day, my mother-in-law wanted to have eggplant for lunch. I ordered carry-out from a restaurant; however, when we opened up the box in the hospital, I found meat in the dish. Just by looking at it, my mother-in-law felt sick. I let the other patients have the dish, and everybody was happy. I then went out and bought a vegetarian eggplant dish for my mother-in-law.
Paying the Debt for My Husband's Sister-in-law
When my husband’s sister-in-law was hospitalized, they owed 100,000 yuan in expenses. They were under heavy pressure, so we helped to pay the debt, and they were very grateful. They could feel the sincerity and compassion emanating from a Dafa practitioner, and after that, my husband also changed.
My Husband Wholeheartedly Supports Me
Now, my husband often brings home fresh fruit and asks me to use the fruit to show our respect to Teacher. When we remodeled our house recently, he barely asked me to help.
I clarified the truth to everyone we hired and helped them to withdraw from the CCP. I also gave them DVDs and fliers. My husband did not stop me at all.
I have also helped his friends withdraw from the CCP as well. He told my sister-in-law that he was touched, and that what I had done was impossible for ordinary people. He admired me.
Of course, I will never forget the most important thing—saving sentient beings. In about a month, I helped nearly six dozen people to withdraw from the CCP.
Seeing the positive improvements in me, including my temper and physical health, both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law began to cultivate in Dafa the following year.
2. Collaborating with the Local Practitioners to Eliminate the “Commitment Card”
At the end of 2011, a fellow practitioner said that they were being asked to sign the “commitment card,” which restricted practitioners from having contact with the public to explain the truth about Falun Gong.
The deeper purpose of the card was to destroy ordinary people’s chances of being saved. I could see the seriousness of the matter.
The following day, another fellow practitioners also said that they were being asked to sign the “commitment card” in their neighborhood as well. As a matter of fact, every household had been asked to sign the card without exception. Afterwards, more and more practitioners reported similar incidents.
I felt the urgency of the matter, and discussed the issue with a few fellow practitioners. We decided that we must take some action. A fellow practitioner said that to eliminate the commitment cards, fellow practitioners in a nearby city posted flyers. I said, “Right, let’s also post flyers.”
My husband was out of town, so a few practitioners came to my residence and we printed over 1,000 flyers. Fearing that 1,000 was insufficient, I printed 500 more flyers the next day. I said, “When the evil forces are destroying sentient beings, we must act to stop it; otherwise, the evil will escalate the persecution.”
Afterwards, we immediately made 1,500 more flyers for practitioners to take back to their local districts. We decided that we would finish posting those flyers that same evening, particularly in the areas where the evil forces were fierce.
The flyers were posted in the most obvious spots, so that everyone could see them. From then on, the issue of “commitment cards” did not recur.
When our entire group improved our understanding of the Fa, Teacher solved the problems for us in another dimension.
3. Righteous Thoughts Eliminate the Evil Propaganda Bulletin Board
When the CCP held its 18th National Convention, the regime ordered the neighborhood associations to post propaganda to slander Teacher and Dafa. We understood that Dafa disciples should not allow the existence of those posts to defame Dafa and poison sentient beings.
To solve the problem, we searched inside ourselves to see why the evil propaganda came into our districts. Our local practitioners asked if there were gaps within our group, and at the same time, we informed practitioners in other districts to look within and eliminate the propaganda as needed.
We all began to eliminate the propaganda with righteous thoughts and actions. In one district, the CCP posted propaganda inside glass panels. After sending forth righteous thoughts, a few practitioners got rid of them.
However, the same propaganda was posted inside the panels again the next day; therefore once again, the practitioners got rid of them. When I went back to the panels to check, I found out that the content had been changed.
The evil forces also posted the same propaganda inside larger glass panels, which was hard for us to eliminate. They even secured the glass in the back of the panels with iron wires.
After sending forth right thoughts after midnight, I went to unfasten the iron wires and tear down the propaganda. It was already 1:00 a.m. Upon returning home, I felt very good: I had done something that a Dafa disciple should do— an honorable and noble task.
The propaganda in District 4 was posted right in front of a main street. I saw it and slowly tore it down. Meanwhile, a woman came to read the notice posted next to it. Calmly, I continued tearing the notice down and threw it away.
Together with fellow practitioners, we eliminated the evil propaganda in two other areas.
As Master teaches:
“Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination.” (“Dafa is Indestructible,” Essentials for Further Advancement II
This is the noble task for Dafa disciples.
4. Quickly Spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party Far and Wide
Our fellow practitioners had a discussion a few days ago and found out that practitioners in one area had done a great job spreading the pamphlet, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. After a fellow practitioner from District Y returned from that area, she suggested we spread the Nine Commentaries in our area too. However, one practitioner believed that it would be too big of a task and was also concerned about the hardship involved in making the pamphlets.
Later, I met the fellow practitioner from District Y who said that the reason the practitioner complained to me was possibly because some of my thoughts catered to hers; therefore, I should search inside myself. After searching inside, I really found out that it was true that I had created some of my own obstacles. I deeply appreciated this fellow practitioner’s frankness. Because I had not been up to par in spreading the Nine Commentaries, I knew that I must catch up right away.
I shared with fellow practitioners my thoughts immediately. We also invited practitioners who were making truth-clarifying materials to join us and studied Teacher’s lectures on the spread of the Nine Commentaries in “To Save the World” Hong Yin III, Teacher said,
“Make known the truth and get rid of evil spirits
Spread the Nine Commentaries and the evil Party will fade
Save the world’s people with righteous thoughts
Expose the lies and open the locks in people’s hearts
We don’t believe consciences can’t be brought back”
We all agreed unanimously to make and spread the Nine Commentaries far and wide to catch up with Teacher’s Fa-Rectification process.
