(Minghui.org) The Minghui website editors recently published two articles with Master's comments -- “What Is One Validating?” (With Comment from Master), and “If the Attachment to Showing Off Isn’t Eliminated, the Danger is Great” (With Comment from Master), in which some inappropriate activities both inside and outside of China were mentioned.
While we are shocked by the danger of such activities, we deeply feel Master's compassion for those who have been involved in these activities, and realize that Master is also warning them and giving them an opportunity to mend their ways.
The following is a bit of our understanding gained from these articles, to share with fellow practitioners.
There are No Shortcuts in Cultivation
There are no shortcuts in cultivation, and no one can get an easy ride with anyone else. One has to cultivate one's heart solidly. No matter how well-known a cultivator might be, what special skills he might have, or how profound the affinities he might have had in history or in this lifetime with Master, if he does not cultivate solidly according to Master's Fa and does not improve his xinxing, his gong will not increase, nor will his level elevate.
No matter how much we have done, if we fail to solidly cultivate our xinxing, we will only end up gaining some good fortune. What's more frightening is that if we fail to solidly cultivate ourselves and let go of our attachments, including the attachment of showing-off, then we will very likely develop crooked thoughts or understandings.
Looking Within Instead of Blaming Others When Problems Arise
Master has again and again reminded us in his Fa-teachings to look within and cultivate ourselves when we encounter problems. Some practitioners in China have been deceived by those who have developed crooked understandings, and have done improper things as a result. We must not blame others but should look within ourselves.
To the involved fellow practitioners in China: You should reflect on yourselves. Why is it that those who hold crooked understandings always bother you? Why is it that you are always influenced by those crooked things and become involved in activities initiated by those with crooked ways of thinking (such as fund-raising for overseas media, etc.)?
In fact, those channels and individual practitioners you "have to keep in touch with" overseas, which you may take pride in and who make you feel special, are exactly the “trap” arranged by the old forces eons ago.
Because you always think you can get something “special” that is not available to others through those "special channels," you have become muddleheaded due to your attachments of showing off and zealotry. You may think you are superior and may have developed demonic interference from your own minds, and as a result you disrespect Minghui and always go your own way in cooperating with those overseas contacts who hold warped views.
Have a Righteous Attitude Towards Minghui
We have noticed over the years that those areas or individuals that exhibit warped understandings and engaged in inappropriate activities share the following characteristics:
1. Lack of attention to Fa-study or doing very little Fa-study
2. Not cultivating solidly, with little understanding of what cultivation is about
3. Taking an incorrect attitude towards Minghui
As to the first two points, most of us have the same understanding. Here, we would like to share our understanding on the third point. We realize that all those who do not hold a correct attitude towards Minghui are, to varying degrees, influenced by crooked understandings. Those who attack Minghui, do destructive things targeting Minghui, and slander Minghui have already positioned themselves on the wrong path and are in a very bad situation.
There are also fellow practitioners who respect Minghui but do not really understand the great significance of Minghui, or they dare not browse the Minghui website, having all kinds of excuses due to fear, even when they are in situations that enable them to do so.
In fact, over the years we have noticed that areas that tend to have problems due to crooked understandings are those where very few practitioners are able to access Minghui. Such areas show a strong mentality of waiting and relying on others, and are not even keen to obtain the Minghui Weekly publication.
Coordinators in such areas usually do not know how to access Minghui online and are rather out-of-touch with what is going on. As a result, they can often not distinguish real from false, and when deceived by those who play tricks in the name of Master, they become involved in those damaging activities and do bad things with “good intentions,” thus causing losses to themselves and the Fa-rectification situation in their local areas.
In contrast, in areas where many Dafa practitioners can access Minghui themselves and Minghui materials production sites are everywhere, there have been very few incidents resulting from crooked understandings of the Fa. Even though there may be some individuals who do not genuinely cultivate themselves, and who have been influenced by those warped understandings, they do not amount to much.
In comparison with Minghui, the crooked things they do against the Fa appear to be silly and laughable, and in a short time they completely disappear. The evil does not enter a pure field of righteous thoughts, lest it self-destruct.
We suggest that fellow practitioners pay attention to Minghui, and we that hope more people (especially coordinators) can access Minghui online by themselves. As a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple, if you have never browsed Minghui when you had the opportunity, it may bring regrets later.
Those Who Have Developed Crooked Understandings Should Look Within But Not Blame Others
Those who have developed crooked understandings should quickly mend their ways and start looking within themselves instead of looking outward and blaming others.
We sincerely advise all those who have been irrational with twisted understandings and those who have been involved in activities that undermine the Fa to stop treating Master's painstaking salvation as child's play, and immediately stop those activities, which are not in accordance with the Fa. It is time to become clearheaded.
Those warped thoughts that led these practitioners to engage in those things absolutely did not come from their true selves. It is the old forces and demons that are aiming to destroy them, and this is the tactic to eliminate them, like sand being sifted out. They should thus not regard these false things as coming from themselves, and should resolutely reject and eliminate them.
Master treasures us more than we treasure ourselves. Master's immeasurable mighty virtue and immense compassion are beyond anyone's widest imagination.
We must hold firm faith in Master. Master told us in his comment on the article “If the Attachment to Showing Off Isn’t Eliminated, the Danger is Great,”
“Cultivation rests upon you, gong upon the master. If it’s a case of sand, then it will be sifted out.”
We should realize that as long as we truly amend our mistakes and genuinely cultivate ourselves, Master can do anything for us. The publication of the article with Master's comment on Minghui itself is Master giving us opportunities and trying to save these lives.
We should not regard ourselves as sand and let down ourselves and Master. No matter what arrangements the old forces have made for us, we should completely deny them, because Master does not want to leave behind anyone who has already obtained the Fa. Master wants to save us!
Many fellow practitioners have come to the understanding that every minute and every second we have now has been further extended by Master's enormous sacrifice.
Master has extended the time because many of us have yet to reach our positions and have not yet met the requirement of the Fa, and because many practitioners are still trapped in the arrangements by the old forces. They have yet to become clearheaded and have not turned around.
We must be worthy of Master's painstaking waiting and the tearful expectations of countless sentient beings.
Those who have done wrong things in this regard are encouraged to cherish the limited time Master has extended for us and cherish the opportunity that only comes once in millions of years. Please hurry up and do well again.
From now on, we all should pay attention to Fa-study and study the Fa well. We should look within when encountering problems, solidly cultivate ourselves, and do well the three things Master has asked us to do.
In addition, the practitioners involved should try their best to take back the things that have been spread around that undermine the Fa, as well as awaken those who may have been confused as a result. They should do their best to make up for the losses they have caused and become upright Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples.
