(Minghui.org) I have been practicing Falun Dafa for 14 years and have always believed in Master and Dafa. I know very well through Fa study that Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples need to think beyond personal consummation, since helping Master rescue sentient beings is our sacred mission.
I commit myself entirely to doing the three things well. I retired in 2005 and now devote more time to distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and helping people withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Based on my experience of talking to people face-to-face, I feel keenly that people long to be saved and Dafa disciples are their only hope. Below are a few examples of some of the encounters I've had with people.
People Anxiously Await Salvation
Once, I went to a store to buy a battery for my watch, and asked the male clerk to withdraw from the CCP organizations and he did. When I was ready to leave, a friendly female clerk called out to greet me.
I did not need to buy anything else, but wanted to help save her, so I said, “You are so nice. I’ll buy two packs of gum because we may know each other from a previous life. I have to tell you something important. Do you know why people are quitting the Party in droves?” She said she'd heard a little bit about it.
I then explained how the communist regime is corrupt and that officials Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai made money by harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, invoking wrath from heaven and earth. She agreed, saying, “The CCP is terrible. There are a lot of people petitioning the regime. Just in the past few days in our province alone, we had tens of thousands of people protesting against steep inflation and the depletion of social security funds. We common folks can hardly survive unless the Party goes.”
I said, “Heaven is eradicating the CCP, we should go along with divine will and get out of it.”
She grew excited and asked me to submit withdrawals for her entire family. So she wrote down the names of three family members on a piece of paper and handed it to me. I said, “They must agree to this themselves in order for it to count.” She assured me, “Don’t worry, they’ll definitely do it.”
By now I noticed that her husband was standing next to her and was carefully examining the currency bill that I'd given out with the words “quit the Communist Party to ensure your safety” on it. He overheard our conversation and nodded in agreement.
Shortly after this encounter, I ran into the clerk on the street, and she smiled and greeted me as if we were long lost family. I think she was expressing the heartfelt joy of being saved.
“I love that Heaven's will is to weed out the CCP, I hope it will be gone soon!”
Once I saw a couple in their 50s selling roasted corn. I bought an ear with some paper money carrying a quit-the-CCP message, and started talking to them. The wife said, “I only joined the Young Pioneers and want to quit.” Her husband said he never joined a CCP affiliated organization.
“That’s great!” I said, “The Party corrupts morals and persecutes Falun Gong practitioners who follow the tenets of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” He said, “You are a good person, you are right, the Party is so corrupt and bullies powerless people.”
“I love that the Heaven’s will is to weed out the CCP. I hope it will be gone soon!” he said.
I gave them two bookmarks printed with the words “Falun Dafa is good,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and asked them to repeat those phrases often and sincerely so they would receive divine protection in times of distress. I also asked them to spread the word about Dafa to their relatives and friends. They were very happy to receive these blessings and thanked me.
“I want to withdraw from the Youth League and the Young Pioneers organizations, I also want to learn Falun Gong.”
On another occasion, I met a woman working out on a treadmill. I smiled and struck up a conversation by saying, “You look great; I should do that, too.” She said she was 60 and retired. Her legs hurt so she exercises daily. I said, “I’m two years younger than you and my legs used to hurt, too. In fact, they hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I also had several serious conditions, but they were all cured.”
This caught her attention as she asked, “You have a rosy complexion and no wrinkles. You look a lot younger than me, what magic potion are you taking?” I told her Falun Gong healed me quickly, and the same thing happened to some cancer patients.
We went back and forth for a while, and when I asked her about CCP membership, she said she joined the Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League; she then asked me to submit withdrawals for her. She said, “Someone mentioned withdrawing to me before, but I didn’t understand. You explained the issues so well today; I totally get it now. I want to withdraw from the party, and I also want to learn Falun Gong.”
“Great!” I said, “I will loan you a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, and after you finish reading it, I can teach you the exercises.”
She was so excited that she cried a little, saying, “Thank you so much! I believe our encounter is predestined; I wish we met sooner.”
“You should thank Master,” I said, “because he arranged this meeting. You were meant to find salvation, so please cherish Dafa!”
The next day I took her the book, exercise instruction tapes, Shen Yun DVD, and a few other things. Now she studies the Fa daily.
Master spends so much time and energy to save people. I want to thank him for his immeasurable compassion in offering salvation to sentient beings.
I know deep down that Master makes everything happen and helps us succeed. As long as we have the desire to help save people, Master will bring us predestined relationships and provide practitioners with opportunities to build up mighty virtue.
