1. Miracle after Practicing Falun Dafa
(By Xiaoju, a practitioner in Liaoning province) Before I started to practice Falun Dafa I was in poor health. I had a number of illnesses, including migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, insomnia, chronic pharyngitis gastroenteritis, adenitis, and cervical hyperplasia. I could not drink any cold water or I would feel excruciating pain. I constantly carried medications for my stomach ailments with me. My neck was stiff and I could not turn my head. All my earnings went to paying for medications, herbal medicines and treatments, yet they did not provide any relief. I could not work and my family was in a dire situation. Due to all the pressure I was depressed.
In 1996, when I was feeling deep despair, a customer gave me a book and told me that it was excellent and would help me to improve my health. I said, “I have headaches and haven’t touched a book for years. Reading gives me a headache. I can’t read any book.” She just smiled and said, “Try it. You will be fine.”
Zhuan Falun is a Powerful Book
At lunch, I opened the book and read a few pages. When I read “Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Sole Criterion to Discern Good and Bad People” (Zhuan Falun), I thought, this book is asking me to be a good person. As I continued to read, I fell asleep with the book in my hands. Four hours later, I woke up without feeling my usual headaches. I was very alert and could sleep through the following night. I pulled my hair to make sure that I was not dreaming. I thought, “This is a powerful book!”
I went to a close-by practice site and stepped onto my Falun Dafa cultivation path on the same day. After a year, I had returned to good health. I was like a new person, with a lot of energy. At harvest time I helped without any physical problems and moved 50 kilos of grain to the sixth floor without any help. My neighbor said, “She has a lot of energy.” It was Master Li who returned me to good health and strengthened me.
My personality improved and I think about the needs of other people first. I’m kind and tolerant and my friends and relatives are all positive towards Falun Dafa.
2. Returning to Good Health
(By a practitioner in China) I am a senior citizen who suffered stomach ailments which stopped me from eating a good meal. When walking, I had to rest every few steps. I was in ill health and had, among others, heart problems, angina and headaches. I needed to take many medicines and visit many hospitals, which took quite a bite out of our earnings. Yet, nothing provided relief, but instead caused a lot of financial problems for my family.
After stepping onto the path of Falun Dafa cultivation, health turned for the better and I could eat a full meal again. My husband said, “I had to wait for you all the time. Now, you have to wait for me. You are really better now.” My family is truly impressed with the changes I experienced. They all appreciate what Master and Falun Dafa have done for me.
My husband told everyone about my turning for the better and said that Falun Dafa is wonderful. His brother-in-law read the book Zhuan Falun after witnessing my return to good health. After reading it, he said, “What the communist party says are lies and what’s written in Zhuan Falun is the truth. It’s a great book and a heavenly law. I must learn it.” He is now a very diligent practitioner.
3. Illiterate Parents Can Read Zhuan Falun
(By a practitioner in Huludao city, Liaoning Province) I was very sick in my youth and suffered headaches, atrophic rhinitis, nasal polyps, colds and flus. In addition, I had rheumatoid arthritis; I was cold all the time and had no energy. I had visited the major hospitals in Beijing and spent a fortune. I had also been treated by a witch. No one could help me. For 16 years, I had to take medications daily and didn’t believe there was any hope for me returning to good health.
In August 1998, I went to a classmate’s home and she told me that her mother was learning Falun Dafa. I didn’t believe in things like that. Some time ago, my mother had borrowed Zhuan Falun and asked me to read it, which I refused. Then, my classmate said that she was also trying to learn. I was still not interested.
Then, when listening to the lectures I felt as if hit by an electrical charge when hearing the words “whoever practices cultivation will attain Gong” (Zhuan Falun). I went home and said to my mother that I wanted to learn Falun Gong. My mother told me to buy the book Zhuan Falun, which I did immediately.
After finishing reading, I said to my mother, “No wonder no one could treat me. I was living such a hard life because I was waiting for this Fa.” I felt great happiness and knew that I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for this Fa. It was amazing, after finishing the book, I returned to good health. I wouldn’t have believed this it if it had not happened to me.
My parents then started to practice Falun Dafa. They are illiterate, but they can read Zhuan Falun. My father’s hyperostosis has been cured.
It has been 14 years since we stepped on the cultivation path. We all returned to good health and no longer need to take any medication. I am thankful to Master and Falun Dafa from the bottom of my heart.
