Before January 2008, I suffered from various illnesses, and my life was gloomy to the extreme. But with the help of my sister and brother-in-law, who are both Falun Gong practitioners, I walked into Dafa cultivation. Master rescued me, a person full of karma, from hell and cleansed me. I obtained a new life as a Dafa disciple, one which is the most admired in the universe. Human language cannot express my gratitude to Master. I pledge to follow Master's requirements and do the three things well.
I am well aware that I am a new disciple and there remains a big gap in my cultivation in certain aspects, but I am not discouraged. I have striven to study the Fa more and helped offer salvation to people. I do not have the attachment of fear, especially in regard to clarifying the truth. I spread the truth about Dafa wherever I go. Below, I would like to share my experience with fellow practitioners.
Using Compassion to Help Save Sentient Beings
Last year, I was offered a daily two hour part-time job working for an elderly couple in my village. I felt that the job was ideal and would allow me time to clarify the truth to more people with predestined relationships. I started off by clarifying the truth to the lady who told me about the job and helped her do the “three withdrawals.”
The elderly woman I worked for suffered from chronic leg and lower back problems and possessed a volatile temper. Her spouse was a retired veteran in his eighties who suffered from colon cancer. He had fought together with former communist leader Mao when young and continued to display Mao's photo. They have four children who all live away from home. I told the wife about the beauty of Dafa and how it helps practitioners keep fit, but the wife said she was an atheist. I did not force my opinions on her, but sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master to help eliminate all evil elements that interfered with her from hearing the truth.
On another occasion, I took the opportunity to clarify the truth to the husband when the wife was away. Finally, he agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I also taught him to recite “Falun Dafa is good.” He happily agreed.
It often snowed during the winter, but I always reached their house on time and shoveled the snow in the yard before doing housework. When it snowed heavily, my husband accompanied me to help with snow removal. At one point, the wife became very moved and tried to persuade me not to come when the snow was heavy. I said, “Our Master said to consider others first. I would not feel right if I stayed at home.” When the Chinese New Year was approaching, I sent forth righteous thoughts for many days and asked Master to help eliminate any elements preventing the couple from removing Mao's photo. I said to the wife, “Who still hangs a dead person's photo these days? This is not auspicious! Let me help you take it down and burn it.” She said, “Oh, yes, please!” Thus, with Master's strengthening, I successfully eliminated the evil factor from their home.
After the New Year, the husband suddenly fell unconscious and was hospitalized. Since all their children went to the hospital to accompany him, I went home. After a period of time, when I passed by their home and paid a visit to him, I found that the family had hired a 24-hour attendant. I sat a while and clarified the truth to her and helped her do the three withdrawals. Due to the wife's temperament, a number of attendants were fired, so I would go and clarify the truth whenever I heard about a new attendant coming to help. Finally, the old lady called and said she could only get along with me and hoped that I would be willing to do this job. I thought about it and said, “I will help you till you find a permanent nurse.” I got the opportunity to meet the lady's daughter-in-law, who was also a member of the communist party. She readily did the three withdrawals after hearing the truth. I then did the three withdrawals for the eldest son, daughter-in-law and her daughter. Finally, by expressing the compassion of a Dafa disciple, I was able to influence the elderly lady too, and she quit the CCP as well. We became good friends.
In 2010, my village was demolished and relocated, so many migrant workers came through the area. I used this favorable condition to bring truth clarifying materials to the construction site every day. Once, I gave a Shen Yun DVD to a migrant worker, and he was also interested in taking a few more back to his hometown during the Chinese New Year. Generally, when I gave out the DVD's to workers in the afternoon, they were very happy and snatched them all. I said, “You should cherish them. Please pass them on to others, your merit will be boundless.” They said they knew “Falun Dafa is good”. People are awakening.
This past month, we moved back to the new building and began renovation. My husband gave me sole responsibility for the work, so I asked Master to strengthen my thoughts and use every opportunity to help save more people. I persisted in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises every day. Afterward, everything always went very smoothly. The workers, as well as the delivery men that came to my house all had predestined relationships. They basically understood the truth about Dafa and left happily. I tried not to miss a single person with a predestined relationship. I think that as long as our starting point is righteous, and we walk the path arranged by Master and rectify ourselves, everything will go smoothly.
People Who Believe Dafa is Good Are Blessed with Good Returns
This May, I got the key for the second apartment in another residential area and wanted to go there to find the people with predestined relationships. The residential area was busy and I went to a construction site and approached a worker. Initially, he said he did not believe in anything but money. I sent forth righteous thoughts while speaking to him, “The CCP persecutes good people. Heaven's principles will not put up with it and will eliminate it. If one joined their organizations, one must quit and choose a better future.” He agreed to quit the “Young Pioneers,” but did not want to take the Shen Yun DVD. I did not force him and left. He was the first person that I helped save in this area. Stories of many people being saved and blessed with good returns occurred after that. This all relates to what Master has said,
“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun, Lecture One)
“Everything has been prepared, and all that’s missing is for you to carry it out.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference”)
A few days later, my sister-in-law (a practitioner) and I went to the residential area to look at our apartment. I heard someone calling me and saw that it was that same worker. He pointed to his two companions and said, “Did you bring the Shen Yun DVD? We want to watch it.” I gave them the only two DVD's I had and helped those two people to do the three withdrawals. They asked if we could deliver additional copies to their dormitory that night, because there were many people who wanted it, and we agreed.
After dinner, my sister-in-law and I sent forth righteous thoughts before going to the dormitory. I asked Master to help, “Eliminate all evil elements that interfere with us from saving people.” It was already 7:00 p.m. when we arrived and many workers were already asleep because of the hard work during the day. I handed-out the materials to the workers and clarified the truth to a foreman and a woman who did the cooking. When the woman heard the words “Falun Gong,” she said that she had a neighbor back home that practices Dafa. She knew Dafa was good and also did the three withdrawals. I then answered some concerns raised by both of them. At that moment, the woman's husband walked over and said, “What is this “three withdrawals” all about?” And he also asked questions. We explained them to him one by one. Finally, he said, “I fully understand now. Please help me quit the CCP. Thank you!” I said, “If you want to thank me, thank my Master instead. It is Master who wants us to come here to save you.”
Just then, a tall man entered and wanted to know what was going on. I walked over and clarified the truth to him. He said that before the persecution began in 1999, he had come into contact with Falun Gong, but never had the opportunity to read Zhuan Falun. I told him the significance of the three withdrawals and he agreed for me to submit a pseudonym I gave him to quit the CCP. Afterward, many workers came in, one after another, to do the three withdrawals.
One day, I ran into the tall man from the dormitory who was surveying the construction site. He took the initiative to say hello and said, “Where can I buy that book? Ten years ago, I wanted to read it but was unable to. Now, I really want to read it.” I said, “This book is too precious and cannot be bought at any price, but maybe we have a predestined relationship. I can give it to you but you must cherish it!” He was pleased and kept saying thank you. The next day, I gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun. He said, “Thank you, I am going home this afternoon.” I didn't see him again afterward. I was moved by Master's compassion to the sentient beings.
A driver replaced the tall man. I also introduced myself and clarified the truth to him, and he agreed to do the three withdrawals as well. He had read the truth clarifying material I sent to them before and asked if there was anything else to read. I said that I still had a booklet called the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to give him. Later, a group of workers got together to read the Nine Commentaries together every night.
I then ran into this driver a few days later. He said, “I want to tell you something--I nearly lost my life yesterday.” It turned out that he took two workers with him the night before and drove to a construction site in the city. The car suddenly went out of control and threw him and another worker out of the car and then rolled over him. The person who was still inside the car was scared out of his wits and thought that he was killed. After collecting themselves, they found that only his lower back felt a little painful, but he was OK. They were very amazed. I said, “This was a good return that you were blessed with when you understood the truth. It is the Master of Dafa who is protecting you!” He was surprised and said, “Really? Thank you, Master!”
The next day, I met the foreman and the husband of the female cook. They looked scared and said that yesterday's job (driving two workers) was arranged by them. If something bad really happened, they would have been held responsible. I said, “You must thank Master. He saved all of you!” They nodded in agreement. He said, “I must tell my son to quit the Young Pioneers League, just to be safe.”
Later, when renovating the second apartment, I clarified the truth to a person who is in charge of the renovation. He had a pain in his lower back. After hearing the truth, he did not hesitate and sincerely recited “Falun Dafa is Good! Zhen-Shan-Ren is Good!” As a result, his lower back was miraculously cured. From that point on, he also received a steady stream of jobs. He is full of reverence and gratitude towards Dafa. When the renovation of my apartment was finally completed, I rented it out to two young couples. They all understood the truth and did the three withdrawals.
Conclusion
In the past few years on my path of cultivation, I have met all kinds of people. There were some who listened and some who didn't, but either way, I would treat them with a compassionate heart. Master lets us take up this sacred historical mission and wants us to seize the moment to save more people. We must cultivate solidly with diligence, eliminate our shortcomings and do the three things well, especially at the end of Fa-rectification. Cherish this precious and unprecedented opportunity!
