(Minghui.org) Practitioner Ms. Sun Guiqing of Donggang City, Liaoning Province was arrested on October 29, 2012 by officers from the Xingou Border Police Station. The Donggang Police Department and the Xingou Border Police Station pressed charges against Ms. Sun. The Donggang 610 Office and judiciary and law system are considering the sentence.
Ms. Sun lives in the second villager group in Taoyuan Village, Xincheng District, Donggang, Dandong, Liaoning Province. Local villagers reported that Ms. Sun had been tracked by several plainclothes police officers for a long time, and that the arrest was directed by the Dandong 610 Office and the Dandong Police Department.
A group of plainclothes officers banged on the front door of Ms. Sun's home on October 29 while she was using her computer to access the Internet. She opened the door after she sensed that they were about to break the glass. The officers rushed in and arrested her. They seized her notebook computer and all of her books and materials related to Falun Dafa. She was taken to the Dandong Detention Center after 10:00 p.m.
She had reportedly been using software which was banned, and was subsequently monitored by the Dandong and Donggang online network police. This led to her being tracked and arrested.
Officers attempted to coerce her into revealing the identities of other practitioners and write a guarantee statement in the detention center, but Ms. Sun refused.
Guards at the detention center told her family that when they asked her if she would keep practicing Falun Gong after she was released, she answered “Yes.” Her family went to the detention center several times, but their visitation requests were denied.
Guards told the family recently that the judiciary and law system were preparing to sentence Ms. Sun.
