(Minghui.org) After 432 people signed a petition to release Falun Gong practitioner Sun Yuqiang, even more people have joined the petition. These days, signature collectors often hear, "I will sign it!" "A petition for Falun Dafa practitioners? I'll sign it."
Mr. Sun, 70, lived in Wanghaisi Village, Chang County. On December 24, 2012, he was reported for clarifying the truth at a fair in Dabaitou Village, Fenghuadian Township. He was captured by Bai Jianhua and other police from the Cangxian Domestic Security Team and held at a Detention Center in Cangzhou City. On December 30, he was officially arrested.
The police prevented his family from visiting him. They did not even allow them to send him quilts or warm clothes in the winter. The police, prosecutor, and judges conspired to sentence Mr. Sun to prison. These tactics on the part of the Chang County legal system sparked strong dissatisfaction among the residents of Chang County, where people voluntarily signed and gave their fingerprints on a petition to secure his release.

70-year-old Man: I Dare to Tell Everybody "Falun Dafa Is Good"
A few days ago, a 70-year-old man heard about Mr. Sun at a fair. Immediately he signed his name and gave his fingerprints. The old man said that he had a relative who was a Falun Gong practitioner. His relative gave him an amulet with a Falun Gong message on it and told him to recite, "Falun Dafa is good." "I benefited from Falun Gong," the old man said. "I'd dare to sign my name in the police station, let alone the fair. I dare to tell everybody, 'Falun Dafa is good.'"
Government Officer: People in the Government Should Think More
After hearing the facts, a government officer said, "We often have meetings to discuss this (Falun Gong) issue. We should rethink our polices. Why, after so many years of persecution, are there are still so many people sticking to practicing Falun Gong?" He commented that many educated and skilled people also practiced Falun Gong, which really made him question the persecution. When Dafa disciples asked him to support Mr. Sun, he said, "Of course I will sign it." However, he could not ive the fingerprints since they were recorded, so he only signed his name.
60-year Old Man: Falun Gong Practitioners Are All Good People
A 60-year-old man signed his name without hesitation after hearing about Sun Yuqiang. He said, "Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I support them." The old man said he had a relative who was a doctor and knew about the goodness of Falun Dafa. However, his relative was fired for practicing Falun Gong. The old man felt so sorry for his relative.
After hearing the truth, another 60-year-old man said, "We, of course, need to sign if there are Falun Dafa disciples being persecuted." The man did not know how to write, but he asked the signature collectors to sign his name and then he gave his fingerprints.
"But I Will Sign for Dafa Disciples"
A 40-year-old man said he usually didn't like to get involved in such events. "But I will sign for Dafa disciples," he said.
A teenage middle-school student said, "It is a good thing to support Falun Gong practitioners. I will sign it."
