(Minghui.org) Mr. Che Jicong of Dezhou City, Shandong Province was illegally arrested on December 12, 2012 by officers including Ji Jiajun and Wang Liwen from the Yunhe Economic Development District Police Department. Mr. Che is now in the Dezhou Detention Center. His two young daughters cry for him every day.
Mr. Che has been arrested several times, sent to forced labor camps twice, and experienced firsthand such torture as being up up by handcuffs, electric shock, sleep deprivation, etc., because he refuses to give up Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He has been seriously hurt mentally and physically.
Valuable Employee
Employed by the Huaneng Power International Company Limited Dezhou Electric Factory, Mr. Che was in charge of finances. When he first started practicing Falun Gong he was in his 20s. He worked hard and was very sincere in dealing with other people. Most people of his age are looking for material gain and enjoyment, but he did not. Instead, he followed the principles of Falun Gong and was a good man and helped others.
Harassed and Arrested
On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started started to spread rumors and slander about Falun Gong. The Dezhou Electric Factory cooperated with the CCP and suspended Che from his job. He was illegally detained in the factory guest quarters and told to prepare a Guarantee Statement that he would not practice Falun Gong anymore. When he refused, more than ten officers from Dezhou City Police Department, the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and Hexi Police Station, including Ji Jiajun, Feng Guoqi, and Zhang Zongming, ransacked his home. They took his computer, video recorder, and other personal belongings. He was charged with “disturbing the peace” and detained at Decheng District Police Department for 15 days. He was then put under house arrest in the factory.
In June 2006 Mr. Che wanted to go to Beijing to appeal to the higher authorities, but he was arrested and held at Dezhou City Detention Center for 45 days. He was then placed under house arrest again at the factory residence hall for singles. During this time, officer Tu Mingyou from Hexi Police Station and officer Zhao Chuansheng from Political Office of the factory came to pressure Mr. Che to give up practicing Falun Gong. When he refused, he was sent back to the detention center and charged with “disturbing the peace.” He protested by going on a hunger strike for six days and was barely alive when they sent him back to the factory residence hall.
In October 2000, Tu Mingyou and others from Hexi Police Station arrested Mr. Che and took him to the Dezhou Dongfang Binguan Brainwashing Center. After two days he was sent to the Zibowangcun Second Forced Labor Camp for three years. He was shocked with electric batons, forced to stand for long hours, deprived of sleep, and made to do manual labor. He was released in 2003.
In April 2004, Hexi Police Station officers Li Jingzeng, Yu Xiuhong, Lu Yingjie, Li Haiyang, and others arrested and detained Mr. Che. A month later he was sent to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for two years. Criminal inmates helped the labor camp guards torture Mr. Che. Mr. Che again endured all kinds of torture. He was seriously hurt mentally and physically. He was released in March 2006.
