(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Chen Xinye and Mr. Han Chunlong were arrested on December 11, 2012 by police from the Dandong City Domestic Security Division and the Sidaoqiao Police Station during a business trip to Dandong City. They are currently detained at the Dandong City No. 1 Detention Center.
Mr. Chen, 35 years old, and Mr. Han, 42 years old, are from Heishan. They are employees of a large spectrometer technology service center in northern Shenyang. Mr. Chen is the business manager while Mr. Han is the procurement manager and driver. Both men are hardworking employees. Top level managers, colleagues and customers often praise them.
Upon hearing of his arrest, Mr. Chen's family, attorney and his work managers and colleagues rushed to Dandong to request his immediate release.
Mr. Han went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. His parents, wife and attorney have recently visited him at the detention center. After their meeting, the attorney filed a case to the local Procuratorate accusing the police of using violence to get confessions from both practitioners.
