Reciting "Falun Dafa is wonderful" averts a calamity
(From China) My name is Duan Fuxiu, and I am 76 years old. On October 26, 2012, I wanted to clean the window in the kitchen, so I put a wooden stool on top of the stove and climbed onto it. The stool fell and I fell with it. My head hit the ground first with a smack. Seeing that there was nobody around, I slowly got up and brushed myself off. I touched my head. It was fine, and I wasn't dizzy. When I walked out of my house, I ran into my cousin's wife, so I told her what had happened. She was petrified, saying that, to fall down like that at my age, there must be something wrong. She rushed me to the hospital, but it turned out that I was fine.
She was surprised, so I told her that my sister practiced Falun Gong and had told me the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. She'd also given me an amulet and asked me to say, "Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful," which I have been repeating for more than two years. Nothing bad happened to me during this period of time, nor did I take any medication. For people who practice Falun Gong, what they say is all true. This time it must have been Falun Gong's Teacher who protected me, it was Falun Dafa's Teacher who saved my life!
My neighbors all knew that I had a really bad fall but turned out to be OK. They all found out about the miraculousness of Falun Dafa, and began to ask me for amulets. They also sincerely began to recite "Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful" and believe in Falun Dafa.
Having a doctor at home did not help--Falun Dafa gave me a new life
(From Hebei Province) I am 56 years old, and I live at Qingyuan County, Hebei Province. My husband is a doctor, my son goes to college, and my daughter is married and lives with her family. We have a fairly good life.
However, I had been tormented by illnesses for a long time. If I walked even a short distance, my chest began to ache, and I had difficulty breathing. I had a compression fracture in one part of my lumbar, my caudal was also fractured, and my back ached all year long. In addition, the joints in my hands were also giving me pain: my hands had been swollen for 20 years with rheumatoid arthritis. I was also dizzy, had back aches, my legs were swollen, I couldn't see clearly, I had insomnia, and saw black spots in front of my eyes. I had taken many medications and been to many specialists, but nothing worked for me. I suffered from many illnesses--you can't imagine how painful life was for me. No matter how advanced the treatments I had access to, nothing made me well.
A Falun Gong practitioner once told me the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. She also encouraged me to practice Falun Gong. She said, “Falun Gong teaches people to be good and also has amazing effects in healing and keeping fit.” She also told me many principles with a great deal of patience. At first, I couldn't believe everything she said. I thought to myself, "Can it be that amazing?" However, because I couldn't stand the suffering anymore, I wanted to try it out and began to practice. To be honest, even though I was practicing, I didn't have a strong belief in what I was doing. But after just two days, the joints in my hands quit hurting and the swelling completely disappeared. I suddenly saw my fingers had become thinner. I was so excited. In the following days, all my illnesses disappeared. I completely felt the state of being illness-free.
My own experience proved how extraordinary Falun Dafa is and its ability to heal illness and keep one fit. I was grateful to Falun Dafa deep down inside, I was truly grateful to Teacher for saving my life. I also appreciate the disciples of Falun Gong for thinking of others and saving sentient beings who were deceived by lies from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) while still being severely persecuted.
Because I have regained my health, all of my family members all accept Falun Dafa, and my two daughters also began to practice. I will do my best to let my relatives and friends know the truth about Falun Dafa and turn away from the lies of the CCP from now on.
Falun Dafa saved me
(From Yingcheng, Hubei Province) I am from Yingcheng City, Hubei Province. On the afternoon of March 9, 2010, as I was leaving Yingcheng Park, I saw a middle-aged woman at the entrance. She had smile on her face and handed me a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Right away, I could tell that she was practicing Falun Gong. She told me the truth about Falun Gong. Before I left, she gave me an amulet. She said, "Take it with you, it will bring you good fortune." I thanked her profusely.
From then on, I took the amulet with me whenever I went out. Whenever I had time, I'd recite sincerely, “Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful!”
Three days later, on March 12, as I was crossing a street, a car knocked me down. It stopped right away, and the couple in the car picked me up. They wanted to take me to Yingcheng Hospital, so I got into their car. I suddenly remembered my Falun Dafa amulet and told them, "I can't go there. X-rays, exams, and hospitalization could easily cost me 10,000 yuan." So I decided not to go. It turned out that I was fine.
I started recalling what had happened. The car was going very fast, and its front wheels hit my left shoulder. My amulet was in my left pocket. The car hit my left shoulder and then stopped. I clearly felt that something had stopped it--it was this amulet! I am close to 70 years old. For me to be knocked down by a speeding car and yet to be OK was amazing. It was truly this amulet that saved my life! I truly appreciate Falun Dafa for saving my life.
So that more people will understand just how miraculous Falun Dafa is, I have written this article. I want more people know that Falun Gong is truly a profound great law that saves people. I also wanted to expose how evil the CCP is in defaming Falun Gong and deceiving ordinary citizens with its lies.
