(Minghui.org) On May 12, Falun Gong practitioners from Seoul held a series activities to celebrate the 14^th annual World Falun Dafa Day. Close to 1,000 practitioners and 30 invited guests attended the celebration. Representatives from several organizations and Seoul city council member, Mr. Li Zhengzan, sent congratulatory letters to the event.

Practitioners did the exercises together in the morning before the celebration. They also performed music and set up a series of truth-clarifying displaying boards. Many citizens and tourists were attracted to the event.

The chair of the Falun Dafa Association in Korea, Mr. Quan Hongda, briefly introduced Falun Gong to the public. Professor Cui Youyuan from Pusan University and Mr. Zheng Qiuchen, a representative from the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong Korea Chapter, condemned the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and praised practitioners' peaceful resistance.

Mr. Jin moved to Seoul from China 10 years ago. He watched the performances for a long time. He said: “Chinese people have to have freedom of belief. My friends and I all know about the brutal organ harvesting. We condemn it.” With a practitioner's help, Mr. Jin quit the Communist Youth League.

A team of practitioners in traditional Korean costumes held banners to lead the parade. They were followed by the Divine Land Marching Band, a waist drum team, a banner team, a team demonstrating the exercises, and a team of practitioners holding pictures of some of those who had been tortured to death during the persecution. A blimp, which carried celebratory banners, flew above the whole day.

Many citizens learned the exercises during the event. To conclude the celebration, all the practitioners wished Master Li Hongzhi a happy birthday.
