Solemn Declaration

My daughter was illegally arrested on January 30, 2012, for speaking with people about Falun Gong. Later, I was also arrested and taken to a forced labor camp. I saw many imprisoned practitioners being subjected to severe torture; their whole bodies were covered with bruises. The guards forced them to take unknown medication and do slave labor. I was afraid and wrote the three statements under pressure to renounce my belief. I was in great pain after I wrote them. I let down Teacher.

I solemnly declare: “Everything I have said and done that does not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will believe in Teacher and Dafa, do the three things well and go back home with Teacher.”

Solemn Declaration

I have benefited a lot since I started practicing Falun Gong in October 1998. The leg pain and headache that I had experienced for years disappeared. I also quit smoking and drinking. I became healthy and my family became happier.

However, the communist regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999. The officers from the local police station forced us to undergo brainwashing sessions and turn in Falun Gong books. I was forced to put my fingerprint on the guarantee statement and pay an over 10,000 yuan fine.

After a lot of Fa study and sharing with other practitioners, I realized that what I had done was due to my fear. I had followed the orders of the evil and caused losses to Dafa. I let down Teacher. I feel deep remorse.

I solemnly declare: “Everything I have said and done that does not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will believe in Teacher and Dafa, thoroughly negate the old forces' arrangements, do the three things well, make up for the losses that I have caused to Dafa, and go back home with Teacher.”
