(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. In this report, at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Zhoukou City, He'nan Province] Father Mr. Liu Qingchen and Son Mr. Liu Chenglin Arrested

Mr. Liu Qingchen is a practitioner from Huangzhai Township in Shangshui County. Agents from Zhoukou City Police Department, Huaiyang Police Department, and Liuzhentun Police Station (in Wangdian Township) arrested him on the evening of June 13, 2013. Police also found the contact information of his son Mr. Liu Chenglin and arrested him. The agents confiscated the following items from Mr. Liu Chenglin's place: a computer, a printer, a CD writer, Falun Gong books, as well as other personal belongings.

2. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Du Qingxiu Detained

Ms. Du Qingxiu is being detained at Chaoyang Detention Center.

3. [Shanghai] Ms. Cao Jingzhi Arrested

Ms. Cao Jingzhi was arrested by police on the evening of June 18, 2013 and her home was ransacked.

4. [Beijing] Mr. Xin Tingchao Detained

Mr. Xin Tingchao is a practitioner from Laishui County, Hebei Province. When he clarified the truth in Beijing on June 14, 2013, police arrested him and kept him at the Chaoyang District Detention Center. His family visit was denied.

5. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhao Jingzhi Arrested

Ms. Zhao Jingzhi was arrested on June 17, 2013 and her home was ransacked.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Deng Xueying and Family Harassed

Several officials went to Ms. Deng Xueying's home on June 13, 2013, including Wang Jicheng (Neighborhood Administrator of Asia Games Village), Sun Baoqi (a CCP head), Li Xiaogang (police station agent). They attempted to arrest Ms. Deng, but she was not at home.

The officials returned to Ms. Deng's home on June 16, attempting to arrest five practitioners including Ms. Deng, Ms. Dai Xiuru, and others.

7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] College Student Detained at Jinan Brainwashing Center

When a 23-year-old male student from Jinan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was distributing truth-clarification materials in college, security officers arrested him.

8. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Ruiqiu Incarcerated at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Ruiqiu was arrested on June 15, 2013 and sent to a Brainwashing Center.

9. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Mr. Bai Mingxu Sentenced to Four Years

Mr. Bai Mingxu, a practitioner in his 40s, was harassed and persecuted numerous times including being sent to a forced labor camp twice. He was sent to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in 2001 with a term of three years. When he distributed Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs at Jiutai City No. 12 High School on December 26, 2012, Jiutai Domestic Security Division agents arrested him. They searched him, confiscated 1,000 yuan, and sent him to a detention center.

Jiutai Court officials sentenced him in mid-May 2013 to four years of imprisonment. He is currently at the Jiutai Detention Center.

10. [Hanchuan County, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Simei Arrested and Her Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Xu Simei was arrested on the morning of June 18, 2013. Her family asked many people about it and learned that Hanchuan Domestic Security Division was responsible for the arrest. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Enhui Detained

Police arrested Ms. Li Enhui and kept her at Huainan Detention Center.

12. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Persecution of Ms. Xing Yuzhen

Ms. Xing Yuzhen is a teacher at Daqing City No. 6 High School. The CCP head of the school attempted to take her to a brainwashing center on June 17, 2013, but she refused. In retaliation, officials extended her working hours.

13. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Tortured at Shandong No. 2 Forced Labor Camp

About 30 practitioners are detained at the Shandong No. 2 Forced Labor Camp as of June 13, 2013.

Two practitioners, Mr. Zhao Tianqin and Mr. Zhao Shouxiang, from Qingzhou City returned home on June 13, 2013. Mr. Chu Liwen from Weifang City returned home on June 7 after going on a hunger strike for one year.

Mr. Liu Shengzhu from Weihai City was sent to an intensified unit last year for a term of 18 months. He returned home on May 31, 2013.

Xintai City 610 Office sent collaborators to a forced labor camp on May 21, to brainwash Ms. Zhu Shumin and Ms. Wu Yujian. Ms. Zhu can no longer think clearly as a result of the persecution.

Mr. Du Lijun from Linyi City suffered a mental collapse because of mistreatment. Officials sent him home on May 31, 2013.

14. [Jingzhou County, Hunan Province] Mr. Yang Xiaoping Arrested Again

More than 10 agents from the 610 Office and local police went to Mr. Yang Xiaoping's home on May 25, 2013 and arrested him. They ransacked his home the next day and confiscated Falun Gong books as well as other personal belongings. Mr. Yang's whereabouts have been unknown since then.
