(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Mr. Chen Fengming, Ms. Chen Yijiao, and Mr. Wang Zhiyuan from Zhenping Town were arrested on June 27, 2013, and are now being held in a detention center. Mr. Chen's and Mr. Wang's homes were ransacked. Mr. Chen's personal belongings were confiscated including two computers, more than a dozen cell phones, two printers, a VCD player, about 20,000 yuan in cash and two bank books. Mr. Wang had his computer, cell phone and other personal belongings confiscated. Ms. Chen Yijiao has been on a hunger strike.

2. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Shao Baoqing Held in a Brainwashing Center
Zhao Jiang and Gao Yuguang along with other officers from Ping'an Town Police Station arrested Mr. Shao Baoqing in Liangfang Village. He is currently held in a brainwashing center in Shangying Town.

3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xie Li and Mr. Xie Wei Detained
Ms. Xie Li and Ms. Xie Wei were arrested by officers from the Xingongdi Police Station on March 28, 2013. They are currently held in a detention center.
4. [Mianyang, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wan Queque Arrested
Mr. Wan Queque was recently arrested by officers from the Railway Station Police Station.
5. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bai Mingfang Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Bai Mingfang from the Taihe District was illegally sentenced to seven years in prison. She was sent to Liaoning Province Women's Prison on June 25, 2013.
6. [Wudalianchi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhuang Yuhua Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Zhuang Yuhua from Zhanhe Forestry Bureau was arrested on the evening of January 7, 2013 as she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong in Yinlonghe Farm. She was taken to the Zhanhe Detention Center, and later sentenced to three years in prison. She was sent to Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison on June 5, 2013.
7. [Anhui Province] Six Practitioners Detained
Six practitioners, Ms. Liu Yun, Ms. Kang Yongcui, Ms. Yun Xia, Ms. Xie Jiaqi, Ms. Sun Li, Mr. Zhao Kefeng, were arrested on the evening of June 28, 2013 as they distributed informational materials about Falun Gong. The police took them to a detention center.
