(Minghui.org) Master’s Fa-rectification is coming to the end. However, there are still very few fellow practitioners around me who truly step forward to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. The majority of practitioners do the first two things well—study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts—but they do very little to save sentient beings. There are also some practitioners who give out truth-clarifying materials once in a while, and they are quite satisfied with what they are currently doing. There are very few practitioners who truly come out every day to consistently do the three things well.
I have just stepped out from the state of not being diligent. I discovered that I still have many attachments. Although I feel that the Fa-rectification is reaching the end, I have not put in a lot of effort for the last 12 years, and was persecuted four times for this, starting when I was still very young. I have the attachment to consummation, relying on what I have done. I am also attached to a fear of suffering, of being unable to endure, of being “transformed,” and being detained for a long time.
These fears have stopped me from stepping forward. In fact, when I truly step forward to clarify the truth and save sentient beings, I break through all my fears and overcome these attachments.
If we only sit at home to study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts, how can we eliminate our attachments? I believe that even if I cultivate for another ten years and maintain my present situation, I cannot reach the standard of consummation. I also need to change my notion of fearing to be persecuted. I am a Dafa disciple who came to assist Master to rectify the Fa. I come to save sentient beings – not to be persecuted. The relationship between us and the police is that of saving and being saved instead of persecuting and being persecuted. It is the responsibility and mission of Dafa disciples to save sentient beings. And we must do it well.
After studying the Fa, I now understand: if we can cherish the opportunity given to us by Master to solidly cultivate ourselves while clarifying the truth, we will elevate quickly and reach the Fa's standard. These opportunities are becoming fewer and fewer. Fellow practitioners who do not step out to clarify the truth and save sentient beings are actually missing the opportunities given by Master to solidly cultivate. To be more precise, they are not listening to Master and are not walking the path arranged by Master and will miss this cultivation opportunity.
