(Minghui.org) The police from Kala Qinqi Jinshan Domestic Security Division arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Xiufang and three other practitioners—Ms. Liu Yumei, Ms. Yang Guihua and Ms. Li Yuqin—on April 19, 2012, while they were delivering Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs in Louzidian Town, Qinqi, Kala, Chifeng City.
They were then taken to Kala Qinqi Jinshan Detention Center. Ms. Liu Yumei, Ms. Yang Guihua, and Ms. Liu Yuqin have been released, but Ms. Wang is still detained. Officials at Qinqi Law Enforcement Department has also illegally sentenced her to three-and-a-half years of imprisonment. She is now in Inner Mongolia Hohhot Women's Prison.
Ms. Wang is a teacher. She has been arrested and detained many times because she practices Falun Gong. She has also been sentenced to forced labor and cruelly tortured. In 2001, she was held in Inner Mongolia Tumuji Forced Labor Camp. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was released. The second time she was arrested, Ms. Wang was sentenced and incarcerated in Inner Mongolia Hohhot Women's Prison. The third time, Ms. Wang was sentenced to two years in Inner Mongolia Hohhot Women's Prison, from April 18, 2008, to April 18, 2010. She was severely persecuted. When her term ended, authorities refused to release her because she didn't give up practicing Falun Gong. Instead, they sent her directly to Chifeng Brainwashing Center.
