(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Hualien, Taiwan held a candlelight vigil on the evening of July 20, 2013 on the square in front of the railway station. They commemorated Falun Gong practitioners who died as a result of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They also called for an end to the 14-year-long persecution in China.
Legislator Hsiao Bi-khim (萧美琴) and other Hualien County government officials came in person to show support and participated in the candlelight vigil.

Many passersby on the square signed a petition to call upon the Chinese regime to immediately stop harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and stop the persecution of Falun Gong.
