(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Buenos Aires, Argentina held activities to spread the facts about Falun Gong in Chinatown on the weekend of July 20, 2013. They went to the Chinese Embassy on the following Monday. Though it was very cold, the practitioners conducted the three-day activities to protest the persecution and spread the facts.
In the cold Winter, Falun Gong practitioners protest CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong in front of the Chinese Embassy.
Distributing information materials to a Chinese passerby
Some practitioners distributed informational materials to Chinese people and vehicles that passed by. Other practitioners conducted group exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts. Banners were hung on poles in the park across from the embassy, so the embassy staff could see.
Some passersby didn't understand why the practitioners were protesting. A practitioner explained, “In China under communist control, Chinese people cannot practice Falun Gong in public, lest they be arrested, tortured, or even subjected to live organ harvesting. Thus we must protest in front of the Chinese Embassy to let everyone know that peaceful practitioners are being persecuted and killed in China.” Many people expressed admiration after learning this.
The embassy staff called the police, who showed up three times. The police officers just talked with the practitioners to learn the facts. One officer left his business card and told the practitioners to call him if they needed help. The officer also advised the practitioners to be careful when distributing information materials to drivers in vehicles that were passing by.
