(Minghui.org) On the morning of July 3, 2013, Ms. Jia, a practitioner in my area, was reported to the police for handing out informational materials about Falun Gong and the persecution. She was illegally detained.
When Ms. Jia's younger sister and fellow practitioner, Ms. Yi, shared this information with us, we understood that we had a responsibility to try and rescue Ms. Jia; otherwise, we would be accomplices of the old forces' arrangements, and we would not be evaluating the situation with righteous thoughts.
We asked for Master's support and formed one body. We coordinated with other practitioners in the area to send forth righteous thoughts and disintegrate the factors responsible for creating the persecution.
A group of practitioners got together with Ms. Yi to discuss the best strategy for rescuing Ms. Jia. Another group went to the police station to clarify the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution and demand the release of Ms. Jia.
At the same time, Ms. Jia's husband received a phone call from the police station. The police said they would release Ms. Jia in 10 days, so there was no need to go there.
Released on Schedule
No one believed the police, so we continued to do what the Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples should do.
On July 12, 2013, Ms. Yi went to the police station. She was told that her sister would be released at 8 a.m. the next day. The police told her, “You can come back here then.”
At 8:30 a.m. on July 13, 2013, a group of practitioners arrived at the detention location and learned that Ms. Jia had already been released. Ms. Yi found her sister on the commuter bus.
When she saw us, Ms. Jia excitedly said, “They know! All of the police officers know the truth!”
Police Ask Ms. Jia to Teach Criminals How to Be Good People
Ms. Jia told us: “While I was locked up for these 10 days, no one gave me any trouble. I continued to do the exercises, send forth righteous thoughts, and recite the Fa.”
On July 8, 2013, while Ms. Jia was detained, the officers asked her to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to other detainees, including drug addicts, prostitutes and criminals. They wanted Ms. Jia to explain to them how to be good people and teach them the Falun Gong exercises.
One police officer found that someone had left informational materials about Falun Gong in his car. He was very happy and said, “It is written really well!”
