(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 15 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 33 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Liuhe County, Jilin Province] Ms. Fei Guiling Tortured in a Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Fei Guiling was arrested and taken to a forced labor camp on August 25, 2012. She was beaten and scolded by team leader Zhu Dan, and stretched on a bed for 12 hours by Jin Lihua and other guards. She was then left tied to the bed for a night.

Zhu Dan, Jin Lihua and some other police officers again beat Ms. Fei in mid April 2013 and ended up with lots of lumps on her head.

2. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Liu Shiye and 16 Other Practitioners

The Second Division of the Domestic Security Division of Benxi City, assisted by the related local police stations and neighborhood offices, arrested 17 Falun Gong practitioners on April 25, 2013, ransacked their homes, and confiscated Falun Gong lecture books, computers, cash, deposit books, bank cards, cell phones, digital video cameras, other cameras, and other personal belongings. All the arrested practitioners are now detained in the Benxi Detention Center.

Arrested practitioners include: Mr. Liu Shiye (in his 30s), Ms. Sun Yuxia (in her 50s), Ms. Wang Qing (in her 20s), Ms. Wang Xiuyan (in her 40s), Ms. Wang Xiulian (in her 50s), Mr. Gao Gang (in his 30s), Ms. Li Yan (in her 30s), Mr. Gao Cong, Mr. Li Yi (in his 30s), Ms. Zhang Meizhen (in her 40s), Ms. Ma Xiang, Ms. Li Hongyan, Ms. Heng Yanyun (in her 40s and has been released), Mr. Li Chun Zheng, Ms. Jing Yan, Ms. Yu Lixin.

4. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Yu Guixiang

Officers from the Daxindian Township Police Department in Penglai City arrested Ms. Yu Guixiang, from Hebei Province, and took her to the Penglai Brainwashing Center on March 7, 2013. Ms. Yu was then transferred to Jinan City Prison in mid April.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Cuizhen and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Cuizhen, Ms. Liu Xiurong, and Ms. Jia Cuirong, practitioners from Nanfan Village, Guye District, Tangshan City, were arrested while they were clarifying the truth at the Bachigang Country Fair in Luannan County on the morning of May 1, 2013. They are now detained in the Luannan County Detention Center.

Ms. Huang Haiying was arrested on April 28, 2013, and is now detained in the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center.

7. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhao Xiulan Arrested

Ms. Zhao Xiulan, 67, was arrested by officers from the Chengxi Police Station of Mian County Police Department at noon on April 29, 2013. Ms. Zhao was interrogated for two hours and then taken home by her family.

8. [Longxi County, Gansu Province] Ms. Chen Shufen Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison

Ms. Chen Shufen was secretly sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Longxi County Court on April 26, 2013. Ms. Chen is still detained in the Longxi County Detention Center.

9. [Qian'an City, Hebei Province] Additional Information on Ms. Yang Jingyun and Eight Other Practitioners

Ms. Yang Jingyun and eight other practitioners were arrested by police on the afternoon of April 21, 2013. Ms. Yang Jingyun and Ms. Guo Zhengping were released. Ms. Liu Xiaoyuan, Ms. Gao Tiezhen, Ms. Liu Xiumin, and Ms. He Yulian are still detained in the Qian'an City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Lihua, Ms. Wang Yanqin, and Ms. Wang Xiuyun are detained in a brainwashing center.

10. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Chengrong Arrested Again by 610 Office Agents

Mr. Li Chengrong from Qingzhou City, has been detained since 2009. Mr. Li Chengrong was released on April 30, 2013, but was arrested again by Zibo City 610 Office agents on his way home.

Ms. Dong Yanmei from Hongwei District, Liaoyang City was arrested while she was making materials to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution on April 28, 2013.

12. [Ganyu County, Jiangsu Province] Recent Information on the Persecution of Ms. Li Daxia and Ms. Wan Hailing

Ms. Li Daxia and Ms. Wan Hailing from Ganyu County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province were arrested and their homes ransacked by the Ganyu County 610 Office while they were putting up posters to clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Li and Ms. Wan were then sentenced to three years in prison. Ms. Li is now detained in the Lianyungang City Detention Center, and Ms. Wan is detained in the Ganyu County Detention Center.

13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Jiman Arrested

Ms. Zhu Jiman was reported by a security employee of Rongqiao Huafu Community, Wuchang City while she was clarifying the truth on the third floor of an apartment building on April 30, 2013. She was then arrested by two assistant police officers from the Jiyuqiao Police Station. Ms. Zhu was detained in the Erzhigou Detention Center of Dongxihu District, Wuhan City.

Mr. Wang Lijun from Xiqing District, Tianjin, was arrested by agents from the 610 Office on April 26, 2013, and his whereabouts are still unknown. His home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books and Shen Yun DVDs were confiscated.

Ms. Xiong Bozhen, 50, was arrested by officers from the Shuiguohu Street PLAC and 610 Office on the morning of April 24, 2013, on her way to the Shuiguohu Street Office to apply for low-cost housing.

16. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yong Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Wang Yong, who was arrested by officers from the Shazikou Police Station on October 15, 2012, was secretly sentenced to one year in prison by the Qingdao City Court in early April 2013, and has been detained in the Qingdao City Detention Center.

17. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Suqing and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xu Suqing, Ms. Xiang Li, and Ms. Li Wei were followed by Beijing police officers after distributing truth-clarification materials on the night of April 24, 2013. They were all arrested in their own homes on April 28, and are being detained in the Dongcheng District Detention Center.

18. [Jinzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xiaohui Arrested

Ms. Xiaohui was arrested on the afternoon of April 29, 2013. Her equipment and supplies for producing truth-clarifying materials were confiscated. She is now detained in a garage next to the Jinzhou City Police Department.

19. [Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Xu Huini

Ms. Xu Huini, 60, was arrested and her home ransacked by police officers from Huangjiabu Township, Yuyao City on April 13, 2013, while she was distributing Shen Yun DVDs. She is now being detained in the Yuyao City Detention Center.

20. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cao Guilan Arrested

Ms. Cao Guilan was arrested on the morning of April 24, 2013 by officers from the Nanguan Police Station, who were waiting outside. She was then taken to a brainwashing center, and released in the afternoon.
