(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Malaysia held a series of events on July 20-21, 2013, calling on the public and government to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China. They directed special attention to the Chinese Communist regime's illegal organ harvesting from imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners, and provided a petition for the public to show their support for ending these atrocities. The practitioners submitted the collected signatures condemning the organ harvesting to the Malaysian Department of Health.

Practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on July 21, protesting the 14-year-long persecution. Many citizens and police officers stopped by and listened to the speeches. The practitioners also submitted the collected signatures condemning the organ harvesting to the Malaysian Department of Health.

Due to long-term efforts by practitioners, many Malaysian citizens now know about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Sivam, a Kuala Lumpur resident, agreed that Falun Gong is very beneficial. “It helps people maintain health and moderate their behavior. This is what society needs,” Sivam said. “We must face the persecution directly. We must make our voice heard, and then the government and the United Nations will pay attention to this issue.”
Many people strongly condemned the organ harvesting. Mohd Harmizi, a local resident, was shocked by this crime and expressed hope that it will stop immediately. Mr. Harmizi said that the Malaysian people should help stop the persecution and condemn the crime. “It is a human rights issue, and I believe that the United Nations should take action,” he said.

“The cases of the persecution that have been exposed are just the tip of the iceberg,” said Mr. Lian, a local Falun Gong practitioner. “As a free country, Malaysia should help stop the crimes in China.”
Ms. Yang, another local practitioner, said, “We have collected 1,870 signatures opposing the [Chinese regime's crime of] organ harvesting. I hope that more people will learn about it and stand up against it.”
