(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Europe held a march, rally, candlelight vigil and other peaceful activities opposing the persecution on July 20, 2013, in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
The activities clearly conveyed the message of stopping the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and helped more Danish people and tourists from around the world learn the facts about Falun Gong, including the Chinese Communist regime's crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. People knowing the fact immediately expressed their support to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.
The march by Falun Gong practitioners consisted of four large theme groups. The Divine Land Marching Band, Falun Dafa's wide spread around the world, stopping the persecution and live organ harvesting, and promoting withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
The large march stretched a few streets in length and proceeded along many streets in downtown Copenhagen. The procession included an inspiring performance by the Divine Land Marching band, dancing by fairy ladies accompanied by the song "Falun Dafa is Good," an exhibition reenacting organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, powerful drumming by a waist drum group dressed in traditional golden costumes, and the voice of “Falun Dafa is good.” The performances presented a rich and lively message to passersby in all directions.
On July 20, 2013, Falun Gong practitioners from over twenty European countries gathered at the Danish Capital, Copenhagen, to hold group exercises and a march. The spectacular and peaceful scenes moved many people, including tourists. People stopped to learn the facts, and many expressed their support for Falun Gong's counter-persecution efforts.

Ms. Camilla was moved by the large group exercises at Parliament Square. She was very shocked upon hearing of the Chinese Communist regime's organ harvesting from such peaceful Falun Gong practitioners.
Camilla works for the Danish Institute Against Torture. When she passed by Danish Parliament Square that morning, she was attracted by the Falun Gong practitioners' large group exercises. She immediately stopped and took photos with her smart phone. A Falun Gong practitioner gave her a flyer. Camilla said that she was very shocked by the evil crimes of the Chinese Communist regime's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. She said, “I find it very difficult to accept such a huge contrast. It is difficult to connect this peaceful group of people to their suffering torture and being organ harvested in China.”
Camilla believes that it's important to let Danish people know these unbelievable facts. She regrets that Falun Gong has been persecuted for fourteen years and hopes that the situation will change very soon.
Argentina Youth Understands Why the Chinese Communist Regime Persecutes Falun Gong
Sandiego, a young fellow from Argentina, immediately signed the petition after learning the basic facts. He expressed interest in learning Falun Gong.
Sandiego is a young fellow from Argentina, who studied film making in Argentina. He has been working temporarily in Copenhagen for the past year. He is very interested in Buddhism, and used to meditate every day. That afternoon, he passed by the Parliament Square on a bicycle, and was instantly attracted by the scene of the sitting meditation exercise demonstrated by Falun Gong practitioners wearing yellow T-shirts, and the peaceful energy field.
This was the first time Sandiego saw and heard about Falun Gong. After learning what Falun Gong is and the Chinese Communist regime's fourteen-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong, he immediately signed the petition opposing the persecution and organ harvesting. He said that he understood why the Chinese Communist regime persecutes Falun Gong. Through his understanding of the suffering by Tibetan people, he knows that the Chinese Communist regime doesn't believe in God. It is afraid of Chinese people having righteous faith in God. He also said that he felt he must do something. He asked how he could find the local Falun Gong practice site, as he is interested in learning the practice.
University Lecturer from South Africa: Falun Gong practitioners' spread of truth and counter-persecution efforts are very admirable
Ms. Wahrena is a U.S. citizen who teaches English in a South African University. She earnestly watched and recorded the march by European Falun Gong practitioners along the streets of Copenhagen.
The Falun Gong procession started from the Parliament Square at 2:00 p.m. At the first street junction, an African lady was taking video footage of the march with her iPad. The lady was Ms. Wahrena, a U.S. citizen who teaches English at a South African university. She had heard of Falun Gong, and this time she encountered Falun Gong again while on a tour of Copenhagen. She said that the Falun Gong exercises seemed very peaceful, calming, and desirable. She expressed that the spread of the facts and counter-persecution efforts by Falun Gong practitioners was very admirable.

So many people from so many countries, it's not easy!” “It's terrible that innocent people are being persecuted!” “For us who live in free countries, it is unbelievable that people are being so brutally persecuted.” “Falun Gong's principles (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) are most needed in the 21st century.” “This is a very good way for people to learn the truth. You have a marching band, music, traditional dress..., all contents are well combined, very beautiful.” “I want to cry just thinking that people in China are deprived of their basic human rights.”

Lessa is an administration official working for a government organization. That day he and his wife encountered the Falun Gong march. Lessa had never before heard about Falun Gong. His wife had briefly heard about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. A practitioner gave them a Falun Gong flyer and then answered their questions about why the Chinese Communist regime persecutes Falun Gong. Both of them said that they believe Falun Gong is a good practice, and that the efforts of Falun Gong practitioners in spreading the truth are very admirable. They said they planned to tell their families and friends about Falun Gong.

Luno and his daughter Louisa are from a small Danish town. They happened to be at Parliament Square, and watched the counter-persecution gathering by the European Falun Gong practitioners. Before the march, they lingered by the female Falun Gong practitioners dressed in white, and holding the portraits of their fellow practitioners tortured to death by the Chinese Communist regime.
Luno had heard of Falun Gong before. He patiently explained the situation to his daughter who was learning about Falun Gong for the first time. Louisa, who is in middle school, immediately told her father that she wants to use the story of Falun Gong in her next monthly school report. A Falun Gong practitioner asked her why she made such a decision, and her father immediately answered for his daughter, “It is very important to let people know what happened. The persecution is still ongoing. It is totally wrong. We should let everyone know this.”
