(Minghui.org) On July 27, Falun Gong practitioners in Washington State participated in the 64 th annual Seafair Torchlight Parade in Seattle, one of the largest parades on the West Coast. One hundred and six groups took part in the parade. This year was the ninth year that Falun Gong practitioners were a part of this event.
The Falun Gong entry consisted of a large float, a lion dance group, waist drummers, and an exercise demonstration.

The parade stepped off at 7:30 p.m. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises on the float. The performance of the waist drummers, consisting of 40 practitioners, and the lion dances were warmly received by the spectators.
It was estimated that more than 300,000 spectators watched the parade and 700 thousand saw it on TV.
