(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Gu Daping, 50, from Handan City, was arrested by officers from the Development Zone Branch of the Handan City Police Department on May 30, 2013, when he was distributing CDs containing software to bypass internet blockade. He was taken to the police department.

Ms. Xiao Xizhen was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Wumahe Traffic Office Detachment on the morning of May 27, 2013. She is currently held in the basement of the Wumahe Police Department. Li Xiaokui, captain of the Domestic Security Division, interrogated her and deprived her of sleep.

3. [Xingwen County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Huang Shunkun and Others Imprisoned

Mr. Xu Qiyang and Mr. Huang Shunkun were illegally sentenced to 8 years and 10 years in prison respectively by the Xingwen County Court. They were taken to the Leshan Prison by officers from the Xingwen County 610 Office and Domestic Security Division on May 28, 2013. Mr. Huang Shunkun was refused by the Leshan Prison. Mr. Kao Zhaojun, illegally sentenced to 7 years in prison, was taken to the Jianyang Prison by officers from the local police department on May 22, 2013.

Ms. Li Xiu, in her 50's, was arrested by officers from the Fu'an Police Station on the afternoon of May 30, 2013 when she was informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Ranghai Detained

Mr. Li Ranghai was arrested by officers from the local police station on the morning of May 29, 2013 when he was informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Shenyang Economic Development Zone. Officers illegally ransacked his home. He is currently held in the Shenyang Economic Development Zone Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Lijun was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Xuhui District Domestic Security Division on the morning of May 30, 2013 when she was working in her office. She is currently held in the Xuhui District Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Yujie Illegally Sentenced

Ms. Wang Yujie, 70, from Hexi District was arrested at the end of last October. She was illegally sentenced to three and half years in prison on May 15, 2013.

Ms. Zhang Chunyu was recently arrested by officers from the Ulajie Town Police Station.

9. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zong Shanfang Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zong Shanfang, a retired teacher, was arrested on May 28, 2013. She is currently held in the Oilfield Transportation Company Brainwashing Center.

10. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiong Detained

Ms. Xiong, 64, was arrested by officers from the Jinshan Police Station on the morning of May 31, 2013 when she was distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs.

11. [Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Meiyun Detained in a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wang Meiyun was arrested at home and taken to the Yiyang Brainwashing Center on May 29, 2013. She is currently subject to persecution there.

12. [Ulanhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhou Liying Detained

Ms. Zhou Liying, from Huolinguole City was arrested at her sister's home by local police on the afternoon of May 25, 2013 when she was informing her brother-in-law about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken and detained in a local police station.

13. [Beijing] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Hao Funing and Others

Nine Falun Gong practitioners in Changping District Jiantou Village of Beijing were arrested on May 17, 2013. Among them, Ms. Hao Funing, Ms. Feng Xiaoling, Ms. Li Yanling, Ms. Zhang Xiuping and her niece Ms. Lihua, and Ms. Lin Fuhua are from Changping District. They are currently detained in the Liu Village Police Station.

Ms. Zhou Meifeng was followed and arrested by police on the afternoon of May 29, 2013 when she was distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are unknown.

15. [Xiangtan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Heqing Detained

Ms. Liu Heqing was arrested by officers from the Yuntang Police Station on May 30, 2013.

16. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Ya Persecuted

Ms. Wang Ya is currently held and persecuted in the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp.

17. [Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Chen Daoyu Detained

Ms. Chen Daoyu, the chief nurse in the Wuhu City First Hospital, was arrested in May 2013. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Long Tingfan was illegally sentenced to four years in prison by the Jingmen City Dongbao District Court of Hubei Province. He is currently being held in the Jingmen City Huyaguan Detention Center.
