(Minghui.org) Since July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist regime has been carrying out a brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners while at the same time using state-run media to deceive the public about Falun Gong with slanderous propaganda.
For the past 14 years, practitioners who refused to renounce their faith have been subjected to illegal detention, prison and forced labor sentences, brainwashing and brutal beatings. Despite all this, practitioners have continuously risked their personal safety to reach out to the public with the truth about Falun Gong, distributing informational materials, sending letters and text messages, posting up signs and banners and other creative and peaceful approaches.
The following banners and signs were photgraphed recently in Yimon Area, Linyi City, Shangdong Province. Messages on the banners include: “Falun Dafa Is Good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good,” “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” “Global Trial of Jiang Zemin,” and “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong.”
