Ms. Shi Jing Arrested and Taken to the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center

(Minghui.org) Ms. Shi Jing, from the Longnan Branch of the Daqing Oil Field Electrical Power Supply Company, was arrested at her workplace on the afternoon of July 16, 2013. Prior to the arrest, she was asked many times by the party secretary of her company to write a guarantee statement, promising to give up practicing Falun Dafa. She refused.

Ms. Shi was taken to the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center by eight people, including Yang Xiuling, the party secretary of her company, Liu Xiping, head of the company's 610 Office, and others. She has been on a hunger strike.

Officials at the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center deprived Ms. Shi of sleep when she arrived there. The food they gave practitioners contained drugs that affect the central nervous system. When practitioners are in a state of being muddle-headed from the drugs, they are forced to sign a guarantee statement which is prepared in advanced. Many were forced to renounce their belief in this way. A male practitioner whose surname was Ge is being held there and has been forced to sign the statement.

Ms. Shi, in her forties, who is a university graduate, resides in the Chengxin No. 2 Residential area of Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. She used to be in charge of overseeing a cafeteria, was honest, and never took bribes from anyone. She was arrested at her home in June 2011 and detained for a month. She lost her position with the company after she was released, and was later assigned to wash vegetables. However, she never complained about the job and always accomplished her tasks. The cafeteria was very clean as long as she was there.

Ms. Shi and her elder sister have been looking after their over 80 year-old disabled mother for years. She went to work during the day, and helped her mother at night. Her mother has not eaten anything since Ms. Shi was arrested, and is very sad and cries a lot.

Daqing Oil Field Company 610 Office Involved in the Persecution

The task of the 610 Office of the Daqing Oil Field Company is to arrest practitioners and force them to renounce their beliefs. To achieve their goals, they hire local hooligans to persecute the Falun Gong practitioners. The methods used to torture practitioners are despicable and wicked, and include beating them, sexual threats, forcing them to watch DVDs that slander Falun Gong, and injecting psychiatric drugs in order to force them to give up their beliefs.

Several practitioners were arrested this year and are detained at a brainwashing center set up by the 610 Office of the Daqing Oil Field Company in the Wangjiaweizi area. Practitioners are not allowed family visits and are frequently beaten. According to sources, a hospital laboratory found antipsychotics in a practitioner who was released from the center, as he would vomit whatever he ate. There are many brainwashing centers similar to this in Heilongjiang Province.

Having Guests Became the Excuse for Ms. Shi's Arrest

Officers from the Donghu Police Department, including Jiang Lixin and Qi Yawen, burst into Ms. Shi's home on the afternoon of June 21, 2011 to arrest her. Fortunately she wasn't home, but the police then began to ransack her house. When Ms. Shi returned, she asked why they were searching her home and if they had a search warrant. One officer replied that they didn't need a search warrant to search Falun Gong practitioners' homes. Ms. Shi was arrested. The police did not even let her put on her shoes before taking her to the Daqing City No. 1 Detention Center.

Officer Jiang Lixin claimed that someone reported that she frequently had guests, and this was used as an excuse for arresting her. In fact, Ms. Shi's father had just passed away and her mother was partially paralyzed, so her relatives frequently came to see them during that time. The police just used that excuse to arrest Ms. Shi.

Ms. Shi is being held at the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center. We hope kind people will help to expose these atrocities and rescue her.
