(Minghui.org) I obtained the Fa in 1997, and without Master's protection, it would be impossible for me to be here today. After sustaining a broken back from a fall, I recovered within just two weeks! This is without any medical treatment and only relying on studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts, doing the Falun Gong exercises and having a firm belief in Master and Dafa. It is a miracle! Not even medical surgery could achieve this.
Generating enormous karma out of ignorance
I was once a physician specializing in gynecology and obstetrics. I performed numerous abortions and killed many lives in the course of following orders of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) family planning campaign. We forcibly aborted women who were in 3 to 8 months pregnant. In order not to let the parents hear the cries of their baby, we were required to kill the baby as soon as it was delivered. We injected iodine into its heart or brain, or suffocated it. Having been engrained with communist ideology, I was indifferent and numb to the thought of killing, generating lots of karma!
Three years later, I was transferred to another department and worked on ultrasound. At that time, I did not know why I was moved. After I obtained the Fa I realized that Master had already taken care of me and paved the path for my cultivation, enabling me to leave that devilish position.
Also because of my ignorance, I moved in with my boyfriend before marriage. I had five abortions and developed all sorts of gynecological illnesses. I also stayed up all night gambling, and later had severe insomnia which no medicine could relieve. I even thought of suicide to relieve my agony of insomnia.
With recommendation from my colleague, I was introduced to Falun Dafa and began to read Zhuan Falun . I thought to myself, “I want to be a good person, I want to cultivate.” That evening, I felt something moving inside of my abdomen. I did not know what was going on and did not tell anyone. After I read fellow practitioners experience sharing articles I realized that Master had installed a Falun for me. I began the exercises the next day with guidance of the book The Great Way of Spiritual Perfection , and later learned all the exercises at a group practice site.
Eliminating sickness karma
When I was doing the second exercise one time shortly after I obtained the Fa, I suddenly heard a fan turning above my head, but when I opened my eyes I didn’t see anything there. I felt wheels turning between my arms and realized that they were Faluns. I often heard exercise music at night or early in the morning, but if I wanted to hear it closely it would disappear. I thought it was my imagination, but later understood that my celestial ear was open.
When I meditated, I could often feel small Faluns rotating around my head and hands. Master was cleansing me. When doing the sitting meditation, I found it difficult to cross my legs even in the single lotus position, and was only able to hold it for 15 minutes initially. After I was able to sit like this for 30 minutes, I tried to cross my legs in the full lotus position. It was so painful that my legs were shaking uncontrollably and I felt nauseous. I knew Master was helping me eliminate lots of karma, for all those lives that I had ended in the past. I kept reciting, “When it’s difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it’s impossible to do, you can do it.” (Zhuan Falun) , and I was able to meditate for one hour.
One particular time when I meditated, the lower part of my legs were extremely painful. It was as if someone was sawing at my bones. My body moved back and forth due to the excruciating pain. I continued on with my meditation and suddenly felt a gush of cold air come out of my feet. The pain was immediately gone. I realized that Master helped me to eliminate another chunk of karma.
Once, I developed a headache. It got worse and worse, and I felt nauseous. I told Master, “I can't handle it anymore, I might have to take medicine.” But shortly after, I felt cold air come out of the back of my head, and the headache was gone.
I used to have a serious gynecological disease, and a couple of times after I meditated there was a three inch long pink worm squirming in my underwear, it was disgusting. I knew that Master had taken away the entity attached to my body. If I did not cultivate, I'm sure it would have turned out to be cancer or something worse. I did not take any medicine and all my illnesses were gone! It was miraculous. I don't know how much Master has endured for practitioners when we eliminate karma.
In the past, I often had blood in my stool, but I never paid attention to it and did not get it examined at the hospital either. I went to hand out truth clarification materials with fellow practitioners one time, the round trip was about 25 miles. After I returned home, my feet were in pain and I had several blisters on my feet. The next morning, I noticed that the blisters were already broken and there was no pain. When I went to bathroom, I felt something around my bottom, I realized it was a hemorrhoid, but it disappeared the next day. Since then, I no longer have blood in my stool. Internal hemorrhoids are extremely painful, and requires surgery to remove them, but Master cleansed my body because I cultivate in Dafa.
Recovered from a broken back within two weeks
After the persecution began, fellow practitioners and I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. I was persecuted by the CCP many times. I have been arrested 8 times and detained in a forced labor camp, detention center and brainwashing center.
I was held in the brainwashing center the first time in May 2003. I began a hunger strike three days after I arrived, and asked Master to help me. When the guards fell into a deep sleep, I was able to escape by quietly opening the door and walking out of the place.
The police were frantically looking for me. They tapped my relatives and family member's phones and monitored their homes. When I arrived at one of my relatives' home around 3 a.m., the police also arrived. I climbed down from a ladder on a second floor. I thought I was at the bottom of the stairs and jumped off, but I fell and landed awkwardly. I was in excruciating pain.
I told Master in my heart: “The old forces are trying to persecute me, I will negate them. Master please help me.” I quickly got up and moved the ladder away, so the police could not follow me right away. I also lost my sandals, and had to walk bare foot in the dark amongst the bamboo plants. There was a lot of broken glass all over the place as well, but my feet did not get cut or bleed.
When I walked into a corn field, suddenly I could not move at all, the pain drilled in from my back, I could not stand or sit, I knelt on the ground and used my arms to support my weight. I don't know how long I stayed there. People told me that it rained that night, but I didn't get wet. When it was day break, I thought that I could not stay there anymore. I then walked sideways half a step at a time to my in-laws home. I even climbed over a small wall and asked my family to carry me home.
When I got home, I lay on the bed and could not move. I could only send forth righteous thoughts on my bed, and studied the Fa while I lay on my back. I could not sleep due to the excruciating pain. After two days, I realized that this was persecution and that I could not acknowledge it. I wanted to get up to exercise. When I did the 2 nd exercise, I felt a heavy weight on my head and back, and could not bend my back when I did the 4 th exercise. But I did not give up. After the standing exercises, I wanted to do meditation exercise. I said to the old forces, “Didn't you want to persecute me to the point of not being able to get up and save sentient beings? I will not acknowledge you and your persecution.” When I sat down, my back was bent. I reached around to touch my back, and felt the bulging vertebra. I knew my back was broken. It must have been from the fall, when I landed awkwardly. I had very strong righteous thoughts and said without any human notions, “I only believe in Master and the Fa.”
According to my basic medical knowledge, when someone's back is broken, one has to be stabilized by surgery with screws and metal plates in place, otherwise one could be paralyzed for life. I did not think about this at all. I believed I would be alright. I could only cross my legs in the half lotus position for 5 minutes. Then it increased to 10 minutes, then 15 minutes. Then I began crossing my legs in the full lotus position, and the pain was beyond description.
After nine days, I was able to stand up and go to toilet outside in the yard. After a total of 12 days, I finally had bowl movement without any problem. I was out handing out truth clarification materials with fellow practitioners after 15 days.
