Additional Persecution News from China – July 26, 2013 (13 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, six Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment, and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Su Qingying Detained

Ms. Su Qingying was arrested in Wendeng City on July 16, 2013. She is being held in the Wendeng City Detention Center. Her legs and feet have swollen due to the torture she is suffering.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Gao Jianming Sent to Brainwashing Center

On July 6, 2013, agents from the Daxing District 610 Office moved Mr. Gao Jianming from the Xinan Forced Labor Camp in Beijing to a brainwashing center. His family took him home two days later.

3. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Mr. Gui Yongqing, Mr. Li Jianshe and Mr. Deng Quanshan Arrested

Agents from the Zhumadian City 610 Office, chief Zhang Jianhua from the Domestic Security Division and officers from the Xuesonglu Police Station arrested Mr. Gui Yongqing, 41, Mr. Li Jianshe and Mr. Deng Quanshan on July 22, 2013. Their homes were ransacked. Mr. Li Jianshe was released the next day.

4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Yongdong Arrested

Mr. Zhang Yongdong, a blind chiropractor, was dismissed in the beginning of July 2013 from the Wuhan City Massage Hospital of Blind Chiropractors administrated by the Wuhan City Civil Affairs Bureau. He was tricked and arrested by agents from the Ronghua Office at Liujiaoting Street, Wuhan on the morning of July 22. His whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yulan Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Yulan from Dudaiyingzi Village, Qijiadai Township, Pingquan County was arrested on July 23, 2013. She was sent to the Chengde Law Education School used as a brainwashing center in Nanyuanzi, Xiabancheng Town, Chengde County.

6. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Wang Mingsheng Taken to Brainwashing Center on July 24, 2013

7. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zheng Xueli Arrested

Over ten plainclothes officers from Suzhou City arrested Mr. Zheng Xueli at his home on July 24, 2013. His home was ransacked. A computer and DVDs were confiscated. Mr. Zheng is being held in a brainwashing center.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Yan Guiyun Arrested

Ms. Yan Guiyun from Yanqing County was arrested at her workplace on July 18, 2013. All her Falun Gong books and two cell phones were confiscated.

9. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Wu Chaokun Arrested

Mr. Wu Chaokun from Dongchuan District was arrested by Chen Hualin and other officers from the Xincun Police Station for informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong while in a clothing store on July 10, 2013. He was sent to the previous Dongchuan District Drug Rehabilitation Center, now being used to detain practitioners, for a term of 12 days.

10. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Yaqun Arrested for Raising Awareness about Falun Gong on the Morning of July 19, 2013

11. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhou Zhonglian Arrested

Mr. Zhou Zhonglian from Jiangjin District was arrested by officers from the Jiangjin District Police Department on July 19, 2013. His home was ransacked.

12. [Tongcheng County, Hubei Province] Mr. Hu Dongyuan Arrested

Mr. Hu Dongyuan was arrested on July 25, 2013 by plainclothes officers who were waiting for him by his home door. His home was ransacked.

13. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Qingling Detained

Ms. Wang Qingling and her husband from Houshabao Village, Beihaijiedao, Lushun were arrested at home on the morning of July 22 2013. Their Falun Gong books were confiscated. Ms. Wang's husband was released at noon that day. Ms. Wang was sent to Dalian City.
