(Minghui.org) There are two kinds of practitioners who were left behind: those who dared not to practice after the persecution started on July 20, 1999, and those who lost contact with other practitioners and practiced at home.
I live in a small town. Before July 20, 1999, many people practiced Falun Gong in our town. There were practitioners in the nearby villages as well. We communicated with each other through the village coordinators.
After July 20, 1999, the coordinators moved, and some practitioners lost contact with each other. In order to let them know how Fa-rectification had progressed, and also to save sentient beings, I often went to the countryside to distribute informational materials about Falun Gong. Yet I didn't come across any practitioners. I then decided to clarify the truth to people face to face.
In 2010 I went to villages and visited households there. I met quite a few people who used to practice Falun Gong. One winter day in 2012 I went to a village to give out calendars. When I came to one house, an old couple stepped out.
I greeted them and said, “I'd like to give you a calendar. It has some good information on it, and you might have good fortune from now on.” The husband gestured that he didn't want it and walked ahead, while the wife said to me with a smile, “Yes, I'd like to have one.” I was surprised to see how beautiful she was. How did this beautiful lady come to live in such a small village? She was dressed in white and looked like a Bodhisattva--magnificently beautiful beyond description. I had never met such a beautiful person before.
She (“A”) said again, “Can I please have one?” I awakened from my “dream,” and she became a very honest-looking country lady in ordinary dress. I gave her a calendar and started to clarify the truth to her. She said, “I know. I once practiced Falun Gong.” I was delighted. “You practiced Falun Gong? Are you still practicing?” She replied, “Yes, but I don't practice it diligently. Another practitioner (“B”) who lives near us is very diligent.” I asked, “Can you please take me to her?” She said, “Sure, she always wants to meet other practitioners.”
She took me to Practitioner B's house. B asked in reference to me, “Who is she?” Practitioner A grinned and said, “She is the person you are looking for.” B then gave me a big hug and said to me with tears in her eyes, “Finally, I found you!” Tears rolled down my cheeks as well. I said, “We'd better stay calm. I found you at last. I was looking for you, too.”
B said to me, “I had a dream yesterday. A tall man came to me and told me that I was accepted by a university. I knew good things would happen today.” I said, “All this was arranged by Master. Master doesn't want to leave any practitioner behind. There were quite a few practitioners in this village. I don't how many of them are still practicing.”
She sighed and said, “There were over 30 of us and two practice sites. After the persecution started, Dafa books and IDs were confiscated, and some practitioners moved. Some changed their belief. Only two of us are still continuing. One practitioner who had moved to the city came back to visit her parents and brought back some copies of Minghui Weekly. But since 2002 we have lost contact because her parents moved to the city. I believe in Master. Dafa gave me a second life. I study two lectures a day and practice the five exercises every day. Sometimes I do the meditation for 2 hours. I never miss a single day.”
I asked her if she knew about the importance of withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). B said she had learned about it from the pamphlet left outside her house. She wrote down her name on a piece of paper and hung it on a tree “to tell Heaven” that she wanted to quit. I was moved and helped her and her whole family to withdraw on the website.
Practitioner A's husband came over and asked her to leave with him. B told me, “A practices Falun Gong on and off. Her husband is very scared and doesn't let her contact any practitioners. But she has good inborn quality and sees scenes in other dimensions.” I then told B what I had seen when I first met A and asked her to help A get back on the right track.
I also urged B to look for other practitioners and see if they would come back to cultivate again. I told her how to clarify the truth to save sentient beings and hoped that she could save all of the people in her village. She said that she would have no difficulty in clarifying the truth to people because she had a good reputation in the village and people listened to her. They knew she was a kind person with good virtues.
I delivered Minghui Weekly and other materials to her every weekend. She gave me a list of names of people who wanted to withdraw from the Communist Party. Sometimes it included only a few people and sometimes one or two dozen. She went out to distribute truth-clarification materials at night, and during the day she clarified the truth face to face and encouraged people to withdraw from the Party.
B later said, “I didn't like to visit people in the past, but now I visit every family and help to do some housework for them so that I can save them. Once I went back to my hometown and I persuaded more than 20 people to quit the Party.”
Within a year she had persuaded half of the population of the village, over 70 households, to quit the Party. She was 77 years old!
B visited the families who had been Party members first. Four out of the six Party members in the village withdrew from the CCP. All members of the CCP-affiliated Youth League and Young Pioneers also withdrew from those organizations. She visited the families with Party members several times, until they quit.
B not only saved people in her own village, but she also went to visit people in other villages. A lady in her 80s from a nearby village often sat on a stone outside her home dressed in rags. B often saw her when she went out. She talked to her and brought her some food. She clarified the truth to her and the lady withdrew from the CCP and accepted an amulet. The lady was very touched and said to B, “You are like my sister.” Practitioner B shared this story with me because she felt very happy about saving people.
One day when I clarified the truth to people face to face, I came across that elderly lady's daughter. She said, “I can see you are a kind person. You Falun Gong people are so good.” She talked about a Falun Gong practitioner who had clarified the truth and brought food to her mother. She was very grateful to Practitioner B and praised Falun Dafa highly.
She withdrew from the Party herself and had her whole family do it, too. She said, “The CCP persecutes such good people. It is doomed to fail. I will practice Falun Gong in the future.”
Wherever Practitioner B goes, she brings the goodness of Falun Dafa to people. She plays her role in helping Master rectify the Fa.
B contributed 800 yuan to the materials production site. I asked her if she earned any wages. She said: “No, I don't have an income. But my husband has a shop and my son gives me money. Dafa has given me a second life. I would not be alive without Dafa. I put the money where it should go.”
Her son lives in the city and bought an apartment for her. He urged her to move to the city. But she said, “If I move, who will save the people in the village? I cannot leave. I must stay here to save people.” So she has stayed in the old unit in the village in order to save people.
Master said in “Fa Teaching Given at the Fa Conference Marking the Tenth Anniversary of the Minghui Website’s Founding:”
“Dafa disciples are now the hope of salvation for the people of each region.”
B also approached several former practitioners, and they picked up the practice again. They know Falun Dafa is good and will not give it up again. B is very confident and often shares with them.
A has also stepped out to clarify the truth to people, though she still has fear in her heart. She clarified the truth to her relatives first and persuaded them to quit the Party.
I found four practitioners who were like practitioners A and B. They now clarify the truth and help Master rectify the Fa in their own ways.
Master said in “20th Anniversary Fa Teaching:”
“When I saw students who came out of China, I urged them to tell the students who haven’t stepped forward to quickly do so—to have them quickly find those lost students and spell the facts out for them, for what they otherwise face is a most tragic of ends”
Master also said in “Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference:”
“The majority of the people in the world today are lives that descended here from the heavens, becoming human, and behind them, linked to them, are massive groups of lives.”
I realized that it was very important to find previous practitioners. In the pre-historic period, we knelt down in front of Master and pledged that we would help Master rectify the Fa. We told each other to wake the one who got lost in the maze. An ordinary person is linked to a massive group of lives, let alone our Falun Dafa practitioners. How many human beings and groups of lives can a Falun Dafa disciple save! So we must listen to Master and do whatever Master tells us to do. We have to look for previous practitioners wherever they are in now and return home together with Master.
