(Minghui.org) Medical professionals from around the world formed Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) and initiated a global petition. They asked the UN High Commissioner of Human Rights to demand that the Chinese Communist regime immediately stop organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
On August 3-4, 2013, Falun Gong practitioners in Taipei presented two plays at two of the city's busiest districts to expose the atrocity of live organ harvesting.
The practitioners' live performances and the posters were attentively watched and read by passersby. Many stopped to read the posters and took pictures and videos. Even more people signed the petition.

Standing in front of the posters, a young man from China explained the facts of the persecution and forced organ harvesting to his friends. He pointed to the play and said, “This is a terrible story that's taking place in our country. Our former leader and heavyweight political figures are being sued…” Then he told his friends where they could sign the petition.
A woman from Shanghai told the practitioners that she read books in Taiwan about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. “I bought these books and I'm taking them home. I want to tell my friends and family what really happened.”
After signing the petition, a tourist from Israel said that doctors in his country noticed systemic organ harvesting in China because of the abundant organs available and short waiting period for the patients. He said, “To stop this terrible act, Israel has banned people from going to China to receive organ transplants.”
Many young people came to the table asking to sign the petition. One of them said, “This is outrageous. It's disgraceful!”
A young mother of two young children came to sign the petition. Her children wandered off several times and she had to go looking for them. However, she kept coming back to the table until after she finished signing the petition.
One young woman said, “I don’t practice Falun Gong, but can I sign?” As she was signing, she added, “This shouldn't have ever happened.” A businessman came to sign the petition and said that he knew about the organ harvesting in China. As he left he wished the practitioners success.
